This makes a nice office desk. My wife needed a desk for her home office. She wanted one that didn't have a drawer or anything under the desk. She wants the extra height to cross her legs. This fits the bill. It seems pricey to me, however. Grandma wants a nice chair in her home office. The one I got might be a little big for a computer desk that doesn't have much more than a computer on it. No papers off to the side. Everything is virtual now. Once the computer is virtual - we won't even need the desk. It is functional for the way we use it. There is not much to it so it's not heavy and it seems sturdy enough. It would hold your weight, but I would not put a horizontal force on it once load up - unless you are trying to collapse it. Arrived in perfect shape. Not a scratch on it. Nice color. Read more

This thing is great! It looks great and feel great. I am actually using this outside directly exposed to the weather. It has already rained a few times and this bench is holding up great. The bottom of the bench is not stained / sealed, so I plan to seal that in the future for weatherproofing. Putting it together was super easy, just a few screws. I'm underwhelmed by this table, and I'm quite disappointed by it. The product description stated that this table could be used as either a computer desk for a home office or as a dining room table. I already have a desk and was in need of a dining room table upgrade so I thought this would work for my needs. I was wrong. This doesn't work as a dining room table. And it's awkward design makes it a cumbersome desk when in comes to overall functionality in a standard sized home office. The table wasn't difficult to assemble, it was a rather straightforward task overall, but it's a heavy piece of furniture so that made it difficult at times. I recommend having an assistant help during the overall set up of it. Please know that just because the table is heavy, the weight of it doesn't necessarily equal quality or durability as I was let down by both. The tabletop arrived with several nicks, scratches, and other blemishes, which is disappointing when you consider the high price tag. This table was described as being able to seat up to six people, but the U-Shaped sides makes it extremely difficult to place a chair with the awkward desiged legs, so that takes away two seats, from six down to four. And two people on each side would be a very tight squeeze, as the length of the table isn't going to comfortably fit both people and place settings. Not to mention trying to find a set of 4 dining chairs that could actually fit comfortably pushed under is a next to impossible task! I tried three different sets of dining chairs and none worked whatsoever. This dining table can fit two people total when you factor in adding place settings, silverware, glasses, and food. I am unhappy with this table and I don't recommend it. The price doesn't match the overall design, quality, or functionality. It's nothing but an awkward, heavy burden at this point. Read more

The metal legs have strong support and good stability. The table is not easy to shake and is more durable than all-wood ones. I’d give this desk closer to 3.5 stars, soley because of the finish. As you can see in one of the photos I added to this review, it already got a small nick just from arranging a few items on the surface. After that first chip, it started flaking a bit more, so I ended up using a marker to cover the lighter wood underneath and added a clear coat to keep it from getting worse. I’m not a woodworker, but for the price, I expected a more durable finish. The desk was very well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was super straightforward, just six Allen bolts for each leg and four plastic feet to level it and protect the floor (it also came with spare hardware). Since it's made of solid wood with metal legs, the desk feels rock solid with no wobble or flex at all. It’s a beautiful looking desk but my main concern is how well the finish will hold up over time, especially considering the small nick I already got. This bench feels really solid with the combination of the wood top and metal legs. The walnut color looks warm and matches well with different styles of furniture. It’s long enough to fit a few people comfortably and doesn’t wobble when sitting on it. The U-shaped legs give it a modern touch while still being simple. This is a very heavy and solid, sturdy table. It scratches very easily, however, I don't think thats the makers fault. My dog (bad puppy boxer!) jumped on the table and left scratch marks! The table is beautiful and was very easy to assemble the legs by myself, with exception to maneuvering due to the weight. The legs are metal and super lightweight. Th table easily moves when needed (we have tile), so a rug would keep it in one spot if this is an issue. Read more
