Got this at a great price. It's thick but not overly heavy, hood is a good size, the "fur" doesn't look cheap and raggedy, zippers appear well made. No complaints but haven't actually had a chance to wear this as it's summer, so will update in a few months. Read more

First of all you should get a larger size, and also the coats not that thick yet it does keep me warm when I'm chasing my dogs around the yard! I do enjoy all the different pockets and when you do put the hood over your head usually when I have a hat underneath it it is extremely warm, the coat is good enough for the price you can't beat it! I bought this for my husband as he works outside and needed something that would keep him warm and dry. He had a good jacket that he had worn out and this was a terrific replacement. He loves the fit and can't wait to use it. He is 175lbs and 6' and we got the XL because he needs to be able to move around freely as he works. He said it was perfect and he liked that it was not a "short" jacket so he doesn't have to worry about his lower back being exposed to the cold when he bends. Only thing is that he had me remove the "fur" on the hood LOL. That is the only part of the hood that comes off. I had thought the whole hood unzips to be removed but it doesn't. Great jacket! Bought this for my husband and he does like it a lot. He's glad he can take off the fur from the hood! I was a afraid of the sizing, but the XL fits him well. He usually wears XL, sometimes XXL, but the XL is plenty big. He's 6'2" and about 245 lbs. Yea, buttons a little hard to button but he doesn't need them - he just uses the zipper.
