Warrior Sunscreen SPF 50 Continuous Spray - Water Sweat Resistant Sunscreen Spray - Broad Spectrum Protection for UVA

My mission in life as a very pale Irish person is to test every sunscreen that I come across, and so far I've been greatly disappointed. Some of my favorite namebrand high SPF sunscreens turn out to not be effective at all. I use several brands of UV stickers that are very reliable, and generally sunscreen doesn't work as well as it says that it does. In this case, the sunscreen works perfectly. This might actually be one of the best actual sunscreens I have tested in all of my time testing. I believe I have tested around 15 or 20 sunscreens. This is in line with the Cetaphil brand sunscreens, which are the best performing so far. One thing I am sad about is that it is labeled as a spray, but you still have to rub it in after as per the instructions. The spray is heavy, so I'm not sure that you'd want to get that step unless it was sprayed from very far away and only a fine mist touched you. This means you can't just spray your face that already has makeup on it for reapplication which is what I was hoping to do. This is full-size, smells nice, does not irritate sensitive skin, and works. It is see-through, and does not leave a white cast, or any cast, and does not feel sticky when dried. About as good as what you'd get from other brands like Banana Boat but it comes in a black can so it's MANLY. Spray it on, rub it in, reapply every 1-1.5hours, and you won't get sunburned. Doesn't smell too bad but there is a fragrance if you're sensitive to that type of thing. I'm just not convinced about the value. Cost twice as much as the stuff you'd get at big box stores. He’s a pipeline welder & works in the sun everyday & this sunscreen is extremely lightweight! It’s easy to use & I like the functionality of the cap. You simply turn the bottom portion of the cap to use it & turn it in the opposite direction t turn it off making it convenient when he travels for work to simply toss it in his bag & not have to worry about something hitting the button & it spraying everywhere. This 50 spf spray works great for helping prevent burns, we were overly cautious and reapplied regularly as suggested. After being out and about for around 7 hours in the sun, none of us were burnt. I'm extremely pasty and burn very easily so I'd say it's a win! Read more

This Warrior Sunscreen SPF 50 Continuous Spray is an effective but strongly scented sunscreen. The scent reminds me of play-doh actually with a creamy coconut and salt aroma plus alcohol scent that evaporates quickly. Warrior does not list a lot# nor an expiration date. They do list country of manufacture, which is the USA. The bottle works OK with a on/off rotating cap and an only OK spray mist pattern that is uniform enough for application but not quite as good as some other spray bottles I've used. The ingredients are fairly typical of spray sunscreens, using well known and chemical sunscreens. Once applied, the sunscreen dries to a flat transparent layer with no sheen or discoloration on my skin. The feel is medium, not super light nor heavy, but I can definitely feel it, which is typical in my experience with spray sunscreens but not as light feeling as the best lotion sunscreens. Overall this is a good sunscreen although the scent is probably too strong for some people. Read more

As someone who spends a lot of time outside, I go through a lot of sunscreen. I typically lean towards non-spray sunscreen because I have a little more control of how much goes on but I really like spray sunscreen for the convenience. This sunscreen goes on clear and is slightly oily until you rub it in. Once it's rubbed in you don't notice you have it on and it doesn't have any perfume or smell to it. Most recently, I was outside in full sun for about 5 hours and applied this twice during that time period. At the end of the day, I didn't notice any sunburn or redness that I would have had if the sunscreen wasn't working. Read more
