This type of material used to be in high end shirts. Perhaps the material is still used but I can’t find it anywhere else. It’s a blend and used to be called Lycra. Used in sporting wear, it breathes and feels great against the skin. Not sure what the material is called for these boxers, but it breathes and never sticks to your skin. It’s has a cooling effect. Not sure if that’s what the manufacturer intended but that’s my experience. Most boxers are cotton where it’s comfortable but nothing like this. Cotton is great material and I love cotton. But I like Lycra even more. The fit is spot on. I’d prefer to pay less but one gets exactly what they pay for, sometimes less. The quality and value matches the price paid. The bonus is the various designs. I bought these for the designs but enjoy them for all the things mentioned above. Will deffo buy more and wish the company well. I do not often type out a review for anything, but Warrior & Scholars deserves some praise here. These are by far the most comfortable boxers I've ever worn. I've tried various brands since moving on from Haines boxers a few years ago (Polo RL, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, MeUndies). The waistline is perfectly comfortable and snug without any discomfort after wearing them for a whole day. The material is super soft but substantial enough to give proper support. They do not ride up or bunch. I've had issues in the past with boxers sliding down while I sleep, because I move around so much during the night. With these, there is no movement at all, regardless of how often I switch sleeping positions. The sizing is true to fit. The Haines boxers I used to wear were 3XL, and that's what I ordered here, and they are perfect. I am a hefty dude, and these boxers are perfect in every way! It has become increasingly hard to find proper boxers with so many people going to boxer briefs, so do yourself a favor and buy these right now.
