I could not be more pleased with this rug! It looks like a designer brand that’s much more expensive and the quality is equal to one as well. It comes folded and I was worried it would never lay flat. But it lays down perfectly without needing to fuss with anything else. It’s so soft, silky smooth, and feels luxurious under your feet. I love the various shades of dark greens, tans, & chocolate, and the distressed floral pattern. The warm tones are perfect for my space with dark wood floors, but I think it could work on lighter floors as well. It’s very versatile and compliments several decor styles be it vintage, cottage, rustic, or farmhouse. I haven’t noticed any shedding so far, and I don’t think it will since it’s not shaggy at all. The thickness is perfect for my tastes. It’s conveniently thin for high traffic areas with kids, dogs, and people. But it’s not so thin that it feels or looks cheap. Vacuuming and shampooing should be a breeze. I may add padding later for a little extra bougie-ness but it really works well as is. The overall quality appears to good with smooth edges and no frays whatsoever. We will see how it holds up over time. Even if I eventually need to replace it due to wear and tear, it’s not a huge financial waste compared to the designer rugs of this size at much steeper prices. Overall, this rug is fantastic and I’m so happy with it! These pictures happened to be taken on an overcast day, which I mention because different lighting creates slightly different hues. They also show how it lays right out of the box, as well as, after the furniture is all in place. Love how it ties the room together and makes it a cozy and elegant space. I was pleasantly surprised by this rug! It is much thicker and sturdier than I expected, especially for a lightweight, machine washable rug. It lays nicely and feels well-made. First time buying a rug online. I’ll be honest at first I wasn’t completely sure about the pattern from the online photos. But once I saw it in person, I absolutely fell in love with it. The design is beautiful and elegant, and it adds such a warm, stylish touch to the room. It has a lovely vintage look without feeling busy. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to how it holds up after cleaning, but so far I’m very happy with the quality, feel, and appearance. It looks much more expensive than it is! Read more
Feels silky soft under bare feet! I have had it in place for just over a month. Has a slight ripple near my sofa I may need to lift it to readjust but overall this rug lays flat. I bought a rug pad in the same size that looks to be slightly larger because it peaks out on one end so before I trim it I will double check the other sides for proper placement. This rug is well made. The edges are straight and securely bound. In one photo you can see the underside showing thickness and the backing. You will definitely want to add a pad for a more cushy feel. I haven’t washed it but vacuumed several times with no issues it doesn’t pull up or get caught. The color is called Dark Green but it also has subtle pops of other colors that add interest without making the pattern too busy. This rug is beautiful and looks high-end.. I love the color and the "aged" look. Also love that it can be washed. It takes a little time for it to release its wrinkles but it's super soft. Love it. I bought two others in smaller sizes for other spaces in my home. Highly recommend. Read more
I spent days looking for an affordable rug. Finding one that you can vacuum and doesn't slip is no easy task. I finlly settled on these. I had to redo my back room after a sheetrock panel collapsed and insulation filled the carpet. I fixed the ceiling - repainted the room and trim - removed the carpet and then patched - painted and polyurethaned the floor for now. I needed rugs that would not slip on polyurethane and I could vacuum. First thing I did was lay them out and vacuum with my really good Shark lift-away vacuum cleaner. It worked like a charm. Vacuumed from floor to rug and rug to rug. The edges stayed flat and nothing ever got sucked up into the vacuum. It doesn't slip at all. The rug is soft like a flannel feeling but durable. It is thin but way softer than a hardwood floor which i have through out the rest of my home. If you need more cushioned support for bad knees just add a non-slip rug pad or add cushion soles to your slippers. It's a very comfortable rug and for the price I couldn't be happier. I have an upholstery spot and rug cleaner so I'll use that to clean it. I don't want to put it in a washer - for one it's too big and I don't want to damage the non-slip backing. I will add a washable door mat rug in front of the slider so it doesn't stain the entry area. Read more
I am really torn on this rug. On one hand, it is truly beautiful, the pattern is lovely, and it is incredibly soft to the touch—much softer than I expected! However, the color description is very misleading. While the listing says 'Beige and Brown,' the darker parts of the pattern are actually a distinct warm yellow-olive. If you look closely at the product photos, you can see a slight golden tint, but in person, it is much more pronounced. It definitely belongs in the yellow/green family rather than a neutral brown. I’ve uploaded two photos to show what I mean: • The close-up: This is the most accurate representation of the color. You can see those mustard-olive undertones clearly. • The wide shot: This shows how my camera's auto-filter tries to 'fix' the color and makes it look more beige/neutral than it actually is to the naked eye. If you are looking for a true chocolate brown or sandy tan, this might not be for you. But if you don't mind a golden-olive vibe, the quality and feel of the rug are excellent! Read more
