Washable Dog Round Bed - Large Donut Dog Bed Comfy Calming Cuddler

I almost gave up on trying to find a donut-style bed for large dogs until I found this listing! I ordered just one bed first to make sure the size was right and that the dogs would use it. Both our dogs loved it and the bed was more than big enough, so we bought a second! Pictured are both dogs in the beds (size Medium) - for reference, one is a 60lb Rottie mix and the other is a 50lb Red Heeler. The beds are large enough that they can comfortably lay in them curled up or they can lay more stretched out. We bought the beds in late Dec/early Jan and they have held up well so far. The beds are super fluffy. They flatten a little over time, but still have plenty of cushion, and fluff right up after washing. I was a little worried about the inside pillow being a separate piece and moving around or coming out as the dogs used them, but that hasn't been an issue. It is nice to be able to remove the inside piece so you can clean and wash it separately from the outside pillow. We've run them both through the washer and dryer without issue. I have a senior dog about 30pounds but her legs are very long. She also wets the bed sometimes because of an unfortunate disease. I was looking for a bed that was easy to clean, round and soft because she loves to prop her head while sleeping and she loves to sleep spread out as well as in around shape. She can do all of that with this bed. It’s flexible so she can spread out completely and extend her legs without much effort pushing back on her. She can prop her head up on all sides and she can also burrow herself when she wants to. I have a small washer and this bed was much bigger (great for my dog, challenging for my washer) than expected but it still managed to wash completely in my small top load apt washer. The middle pillow is removal so washing those separately was very helpful. Once the bed gets soaked it’s shape gets smaller in the wash. We’ve washed the bed once on delicate and nothing was damaged. We dried on a low heat setting and nothing was damaged. We can wrap the middle pillow with a pee pad (helpful) but because of the occasional accidents we will still need to wash the bed more frequently than a regular dog owner. I will try to update in a couple months to review how the bed has held up after multiple washes/drys but so far so good. The low price and size of the bed was great compared to others, and I looked into over 15 other donut shape Amazon dog beds and their reviews. For the price and size you should definitely try it because others were almost double in price. The quality of the bed is great and the softness is so nice for my dog. The removable middle pillow is also extremely helpful. Just be careful how you wash the bed because the nature of the fluff on the outside isn’t going to manage well if it goes through a rough cycle, but that’s true for every bed with outer fluff material. Update: I’ve washed at least 5 times now. I forgot to change my washer setting to delicate and it was on super wash so it made a small hole. Fluff still stays inside even after I’ve washed it with the hole. The only thing I see it the “fur” fluffy material can get tangled with itself in wash. For me that’s not a problem. I just cut along the tangle with scissors and it’s fine. I still really like this bed! Read more

((I got the medium 30inch round for my 30lb Beagle)) I got this bed for my Beagle who was seeming depressed when her Jack Russell sister passed away in June 2021. This has been the best purchase I’ve made for my dog in all of her 8 years! It is so fluffy and cozy and durable. I’ve even machine washed it AND dried it. My dog loves it so much that when I’m working from home I have to bring it back to my office for her to sleep in. The size is absolutely perfect for her and I can tell she feels relaxed, warm and at ease when she’s leaving in it. I absolutely feel like this has calmed her grieving. I add a small silk blanket in for her to cuddle with. I researched SO many other donut beds for her and I’m so happy I got this one. My dogs LOVE this bed. But, they are chewers and I would have to purchase two of these every month to keep them supplied. If your dog is not a chewer, this bed would be perfect for him/her. It is soft and they love that it is higher on the sides and is cozy. I have two Dobermans and they got in it right away. I still had the old one. I bought another brand before but their size 36" was too expensive at $129.00 for one bed. This one has better quality and was less money. And my dogs seemed to like it better. They both abandoned the old bed for the new one and shared it for a while. No matter how many chew toys I gave them, the bed was far more interesting as a chew toy. When they had completely destroyed it they returned to the old one and finished that one off as well. Read more

I have 3 dogs--an unsociable shih tzu and 2 best pal dachshunds. I bought a small donut bed for the shih tzu because he suddenly decided he didn't want to share the large dog bed I had for the 3 of them, and instead he excused himself to the hardwood floor. I couldn't have that, so I bought him a small donut bed and he immediately loved it. But after a several days the 2 dachshunds became curious and thought they would try it out and they also loved it, but it was way too small for the 2 of them! My only recourse was to buy another but this , time a medium for the dachshunds. This one is much larger and built taller, so I was afraid the dogs wouldn't be able to get into it since the sides were higher than their eye balls!. But all 3 have figured it out, and now there's a argument over this one. They are adorable to watch! These beds are very soft and the dogs can snuggle into them for extra comfort and warmth, plus the donut part allows them to have a pillow of sorts. Got this for my older dog since he kept trying to climb in my smaller dogs donut. It was a little larger than I thought it would be, though it is fluffy and good material. The center is a removable pillow, which is also cool cause then you can flip it before having to wash it. The color is exactly how it looks in the picture. Read more
