Easy to get flat if you know how!
Impressed. First it is important to understand how this is shipped and how to get it flat. It comes TIGHTLY rolled in a long box measuring 5x5 in square. I opened one end, tipped that end to the floor and shook it out of the box. Easy. It laid there like that all night, it didn't change states just because I unboxed it. The next (warm) morning, I took it out in the sun. I laid a black moving blanket under it (black traps the heat) and unrolled it SPIKES DOWN. MY secret weapon was a sheet of glass left over from a household project. The glass is transparent, flat, weighted, and amplified the sun's rays. Two to three hours like this, in the sun, on the drive, it is perfectly flat. NOW LISTEN UP! When you bring it in, lay it down flat on a floor, spike side up, and let it cool and relax into shape overnight, before you put your chair or any weight on it, then move it into position and ready it for use. In effect, what I did was created a solar autoclave to heat form it to flat under pressure, then let it cool naturally at room temperature. If you understand how these materials behave, they are easy to master, any you will be happier with the results.
