Well made and budget priced. This is a great addition to your watch case tools. It feels good in your hands and provides enough leverage to open the toughest watch case back. Seems like it will last a long time. Easy to adjust and fits a wide range of watches. You’ll be very happy with this tool. Read more
Works really well for watches with screw back cases. This tool is hefty and allows you to really put pressure on the back of the watch while maintaining leverage. I removed a tight case that I couldn't with the cheap square watch case tool that kept slipping and scratching my watch. It's also way better than the three prong tool that has a handle, as that tool wouldn't let me get any leverage and it kept moving one of the pegs since the adjustment was on the handle. Most watch hobbyist are aware of how much of a hit and miss it is to get a well manufactured tool, especially with the broad options of a notched case back openers. Look no further - this is the finest I've encountered as compared to the palm size two-pin block, the tee handle two or three pin units, etc. With most others, the thread tolerances are so bad there is almost a full notch worth of play on the pins. This translates into a high probability of the pins slipping out of the case back recesses, often scratching the case back. This is manufactured with quality steel and with virtually NO play within the pin holders. I was so pleased that I had to write a review immediately after unboxing - this tool is that good. Read more

Works quite well to loosen watch backcovers, but it's difficult to swap the bits out. I have difficulty removing the cover on one watch, not the fault of the tool, but someone before me applied too much torque tightening the watch I want to change the battery on? Read more

I have a 40 year old, limited quantity, Seiko watch with Purdue logo faceplate. The watch has been sitting unused for several years and needed a battery replacement. I have tried other tools without success as the mechanisms always slipped when attempting to unscrew the case. Although expensive, I purchased and within minutes had unscrewed the case and installed a new battery. This tool is robust, comes with two sets of prongs, and is easy to adjust the prongs as they do not slip. Without question, this is the tool to purchase for easily unscrewing any watch case.
