It's fine for just packing your wallet, credit cards phone, ear buds, passport, etc. They need to use a clip (like their other bigger sling bags) on that outer front flap... the magnetic thing is hokey. Size will work well for me for our upcoming UK trip. Read more

Love the size! Am able to fit my book, phone, 20oz soda, wallet and keys in it. Love the hidden back pocket and the security of not only the locking zipper but also the velcro that you would definitely hear if someone was to try to open it. Did a lot of searching for a good crossbody bag with anti-theft features before settling on this one. It worked very well for an international trip which included train travel, busy tourist spots and multiple cities. I didn’t test out the anti-slash (which would naturally require ruining the bag) but it felt sturdy. The zipper lock could be a bit cumbersome to undo but that is I believe the point. I especially liked the pocket that sits closest to the body as it wasn’t easily accessible (or pick-pocket attractive) but fairly easy to access. It easily fit a water bottle and/or small umbrella, epi-pen, passport in the main pocket with a credit card or cash in “hidden” pocket and a phone in the “outside” pocket. I ordered this bag a few days ago. It arrived promptly. As with any item I buy for EDC, I immediately start looking for the pros and cons. Let me say that I know that there are other manufacturers that make sling bags made specifically for EDC items. EDC as it pertains to safety and medical items. The problem is that most of those bags are on the tactical end and have MOLLE points of attachment. Such look is a dead giveaway. I rather carry something a bit more inconspicuous. I should also add that this bag will not fit the purpose of carrying my primary tool. I carry AIWB. So, having to gain access to my primary tool is not something that I evaluated. I chose this bag for it's looks and bc it's going to be big enough to fit spare mags, a couple of TQ/CAT, chest seal, decomp needle, CPR mask, medical scissors, wound dressing, band aids, pain killers, antiinflammatories, etc. The bag seems to be made of good light water repellent material. I exposed the bag under the water spout for a couple of minutes. It kept the contents dry. Still, I will apply some 3M fabric treatment spray. I would have liked to see double stitching at the upper portion of the shoulder strap. But, given the way it's marketed, this bag is meant for light use in urban areas. The cons that I found with this bag is that regardless of the shoulder strap configuration (see pics), one the zippers ends up facing the ground. This means that when you open the zippers, one of them will allow the contents of that particular compartment to fall out. This also means that if you decide to carry the bag with the main compartment's zipper facing up (as you swing it in front of your chest), you'll have reach into the compartment with your left hand to reach its contents. For a lefty this is no problem. But you may want to take that into consideration when ordering this bag. As for me, this is actually a benefit as I like to keep my strong hand unoccupied while reaching into any bag that I'm carrying. The above zipper problem could be easily fixed at the point of manufacturing by adding a dual zipper to the main compartment, and or making the opening to the rear (secret) compartment horizontal instead of vertical. I cannot attest to the bag's durability, but I will update if I encounter any issues besides normal wear and tear. Read more

Love this bag! I would note that the snap/magnet isn't very strong and likewise doesn't make that section/pocket very secure from a pickpocket perspective, HOWEVER the rest of the zipping pockets more than make up for it. The strap is nice and thick but lays flat, the adjustable length is great for both short and tall torso (I am 5'10" with most of my height in my my torso (that paints a strange picture) so I need a bag to hang a little longer to get to a comfortable position). The locking strap hook is nice and sturdy. Good zippers, thick zipper pulls (the one zipper lock seemed it would break but it didn't,) lots of compartments within main compartment. Read the dimensions, it is not a large bag but great for the George Carlin "smaller version of your stuff," the essentials. Phone, wallet, sunglasses case, Chapstick, passports, keys, kindle and some small wrapped souvenirs I bought all fit nicely. Bought for travel but became my main purse. I went on a trip to Barcelona and got spooked when I heard the tourist areas were known for pickpockets. This was one of the cheapest options for a theft proof bag but it worked so well! The first time I screwed one of the zippers shut I think I screwed it a little too tight, or the clasp didn't line up right, because it did get stuck but I fixed it after about 5 minutes of messing with it. So definitely be careful with the zipper clasp since *you* want to be able to open it, but I definitely think it's difficult enough that anyone else would probably leave it alone. Thankfully I didn't have to test its slash proof material, but it feels sturdy and I wasn't even able to shove an enamel pin into the material. It looks super flat but I was surprisingly able to fit quite a lot in there--an 8 ounce water bottle, my wallet, my phone, a hand fan, gum, little packages of snacks, lip glosses. And even after all that, it didn't feel too bulky for being in festival crowds all day. Plus I brought it to the beach and everything inside the bag was sand free.
