Finally got brave enough to use this on my husband. Works amazingly well. It fit easily over a large bandage from finger surgery. The quality of the plastic is thick and is reusable. I got this for showering after having had elbow surgery. It is very effective at keeping out water. I had no issues whatsoever with my soft cast getting wet or even damp. The vinyl is very thick as is the material on the seal at the top. I am 6'3" and it was able to reach up to the top of my arm just below the shoulder/deltoid, so size wise it should be useful for most people. The design is perfect, even having a shape that accounts for your thumb being stuck in place in the cast and pointing up. A very high quality item overall in its construction. Putting it on with one hand is possible, but not the easiest thing to do. Folding down the top lip greatly helps sliding it over a cast, or better yet having someone help you makes it very easy. This works amazingly well. My partner broke her arm, and this has kept her cast completely dry. Putting it on is fairly easy, though the rubber top needs you to stretch it as you do. Read more
