I really love all the pockets in this garden tool bag. They are deep enough to hold all my hand tools upright. I also like the interior space as it gives me room to carry a drink, snack item, mister bottle, seeds container, etc. for whatever I am working on in the garden or potting table. This bag does not have side stays to help keep it upright like some other garden bags I have used. I corrected this by cutting off the tops of 2, 1-gallon milk jugs and set them in the bottom of the bag interior. It provided a bit more rigidity so the bag stands up and the tools in the outer pockets are upright and easy to grab. I like this garden bag and recommend it. Read more
I must say that, over the years, I've had many items to carry gardening handtools and such. My longest used item has been a 5-gallon bucket with a sort of canvas slip cover that has pockets all around, inside and out. It has been very useful. It has also been a bit awkward and, as I get older, heavier than I would like. Enter the Garden Tote Bag. It is so muh lighter, smaller, and easier to handle than a five-gallon bucket, no matter how well equipped. The pockets on the Tote are good-sized--I can fit virtually any hand-tool inside these pockets, there are many of the. As I write this, I have two different-sized trowels, a small cultivator, a hand hoe, a pair of Felco hand trimmers, scissors, twine, seed packets, fertilizer and more--just in the pockets! There is also the large central pocket, large enough for your drinks and lunch. Of course,it's also big enough for you to put the bounty of your garden in--perhaps a cabbage, some carrots, potatoes--you get the idea. The bag itself appears well-made, durable, and attractive. At the price-point asked, less than $20, this bag is a steal. Read more
