To get the most obvious part of this out of the way first, this is a really nice case for something that didn't cost a few hundred dollars. I struggle at times to keep my tools and their accessories together and end up wandering around looking for stuff instead of actually getting things done. Having this carrying case made it so easy to toss my jumper and it's accessories into it and now I can keep this in my garage, my trunk or carry it around from job to job without having a crazy mess need to juggle multiple items. The shell of this case is sturdy and has survived being tossed around without issue. The foam is cut perfectly and my jumper fits in there perfectly. It is nice and dense and keeps things where they need to be so they're safe if dropped. I really like how easy it is to lock and unlock using the closures and love that they have buttons to release them and open the case so they don't pop open and let things loose when things get a little rough. All said, if you're like me and need a little help keeping your stuff together, this case is great and makes it a breeze. It's well built, works perfectly and looks good to boot. Read more

Item arrived quickly and well packaged; Sealed in a heat shrink plastic bag. Overall dimensions of the case are approx 17 inches (width), 14 inches (front/back), and 8 inches (height). Internal dimensions (not including foam are approx 15 1/2 inches (wide), 11 1/2 inches (front/back), and 6 1/2 inches (deep). Case appears to be well constructed. The lid (black in color) has plastic hinges, as does the case (red in color). These hinges however are connected together with a steel rod. The lid has a gasket that when closed provides what appears to be a good seal with the case. An installed air vent, in the case, helps to keep air pressure balanced during changes. Two latches help to secure lid to case and have a nice “snap” when fully engaged. (These latches “lock” and can be opened by pressing a button on the latch.) The carry handle is of good size (my big old fat hand and fingers fit nicely) and appears to be solid and securely hinged to the case. Overall I am impressed with the build quality and function of this case- nicely done. On the inside of the lid, a soft egg foam has been installed. The case itself has a more ridged foam installed that has been precut to support the Milwaukee jump pack, charger, and battery. Fit is very good, snug, and secure. The case provides excellent protection of device and its accessories. (Speaking of secure, the case also has two holes that would allow for padlocks to be installed.) I have used other similar cases by a manufacturer that has a bird with long legs - and I find this case to be of similar quality and at the price, a better value. Read more

This is the perfect rugged and heavy-duty case that can be altered to fit an infinite number of various tools and items. It is the quality that we have come to expect from Milwaukee. After using a box cutter to remove some of the foam in this case, it now sits on a shelf in my garage and is used to store additional tools. If you like Milwaukee and have come to rely on their dependability and quality, then you (or your husband) will not be disappointed in the quality and durability of this bad boy. But do keep in mind that this IS made for a specific tool/item, and that it does require some quick and easy alterations to the interior if you want to use it in a different manner/for different items. It would be super cool if that foam could be made removeable in some way, but I do realize that that’s not what it’s listed for, even though it works beautifully. Read more
