I was replacing a 3 pound density because it was too soft. I expected a 5 pound density to be much firmer than the 3 and I am very disappointed that this overlay is not much firmer. Very disappointed with this purchase. Read more
Looks exactly like the photo here. Slightly pink/salmon foam. Twin XL true to side, with sheets on perfect rectangle with mattress right out of the box.. 3 in, 5lb density is the perfect density and thickness for me. My hips don't sink through to the mattress below when I sleep on my side, really comfortable sleeping on back. I can roll over without too much effort. Off gassing was much less than expected. Slept on it first night after 5-6 hours airing with window open. Waterproof mattress cover goes over memory foam and mattress, very thin, barely know it's there under sheets. Contour pillows are lighter, less dense, white memory foam, they off gas way more than memory foam mattress pad. I'm giving those a week or two or airing. This is a good deal since price was same as just memory foam pad on it's own. The extras were a useful bonus, especially the mattress pad. Came earlier than expected, well packaged, very pleased with purchase. Thx to all other reviewers that convinced me to buy this. Read more
