Waterproof Merino Wool Touchscreen Gloves 3-Layer Thermal Winter Gloves Windproof for Skiing Work

These arrived today and I am very pleased with them. We do not have the weather right now for a proper cold weather test. But I did put them on and ran cold water over one for a few minutes. No water penetrated to the inner glove. The outside of the glove feels similar to neoprene and the inner feels kind of like the interior of a wool sock. It's very comfortable. On my phone I was able to easily to choose numbers. But with texting I found it easier, because of the width of the fingertip, if I held my hand/fingertip vertically instead of horizontally. The rubber slashes and circles on the palm and fingers are very grippy. I especially like that I am sure they will be warm because of the wool, but the material on the fingers, the circumference, is small enough that I don't lose a lot of dexterity with them on. I tried their fit with the trigger guards on a couple of firearms, and they will make good cold weather shooting gloves. I could find no size chart, and I am kind of a size-tweener between Medium and Large. So, I went with the large. I have working hands. But they're not overly beefy. My index finger is 3-1/4" long and my palm (from the base of thumb to other side) is 3-3/4". My trigger finger and index finger fit fully. Although I'm sure these would stretch some. The other two fingers have between an 1/8 and 1/4" to spare. The palm has some extra room. That concerned me at first. But I tried the gloves holding a walking stick and the firearms. And I couldn't feel the extra room. I'm sure if it was an issue I could have shrunk them slightly, carefully. Read more

These gloves fit extremely tight so they are not very warm in cold weather. They are waterproof and the touch screen capability works every time. They are very comfortable even though they fit tight, and are very well made. Read more

These gloves are nicely made and I really like how well they were designed. Winter is coming and I took a lot of their construction into consideration before I purchase them. They are designed for warmth, to keep my hands dry, and are snug including around my wrists without being uncomfortably tight. They have the fingertip weave including on the tip of the thumb for cellphone touchscreen use. Also, the entire palm area and the inside of the fingertips have additional grip features. The touch screen function works well. I am sensitive to the cold and this glove does not keep my hands warm in very cold weather. It fits well and offer some protection in mild to moderate temperatures. Read more

Warm enough for shoveling snow, not sure about a lengthy hike in low temps. The touchscreen function is great, it's very responsive, haven't tried typing something yet but for swiping and changing a podcast during a dog walk they work well. The only issue I had was with the sizing. I don't want to brag, but I have pretty small hands. They are a bit less than 7" as measured using their directions. I got the small, and when I put them on they were incredibly tight. Like ten little boa constrictors squeezing the life out of every digit. I swapped them for the medium and the fit is perfect. These gloves were supposed to be great for very cold weather. Read they are very popular in Norway. I was outside for 5 minutes in 28 degrees weather and my fingers were already getting very cold. Absolutely not worth the money. Wouldn't buy them for any price. Read more

Nice gloves; I wanted a pair of waterproof gloves when I take the dog out in winter to play ball. They are pretty warm although in frigid conditions they may not be warm enough. Sizing is accurate especially if I want to put a silk or wool layer inside these. Can’t wait to try them out when the snow is wet or to shovel the snow. Read more
