The media could not be loaded. As I mentioned in the title, I was super skeptical about the quality given the price. I read lots of reviews and I saw quite a few that mentioned leaking after a few days. Regardless, I took the risk and I bought it obviously. For some context, I work outside six days a week doing outside labor moving from property to properly . after three months of using this almost every day and absolutely beating this water bottle up I’ve had no issue by far. The best purchase I’ve ever made not a single leak in site and it sure can take a beating. I would 1000% recommend us to anyone if anything. For me I have found that on a 80° day filling it up about 2/5 of the way with ice and the rest with the water, the ice will eventually melt, but the water will remain cold ( perfect temperature for my liking ) all the way until the next day. The only issue I would have is that the sleeve could be a bit more thorough. I've been using the WATERSY 1 gallon insulated bottle for about six months, and it's held up remarkably well. Build Quality & Durability: This bottle is built like a tank. I've dropped it multiple times, including on the cap, and nothing has broken or cracked. The handle is solid and shows no signs of wear even with daily use. The insulation works excellently - it keeps water cold for the advertised 48 hours, which is perfect for long hikes or all-day events. Ease of Use: The wide mouth opening makes filling, emptying, and cleaning incredibly easy. You can fit your entire hand inside for thorough cleaning, and ice cubes go in without any hassle. No concerns about mold or buildup in hard-to-reach areas. The Drinking Challenge: Here's where it gets tricky - tilting a full gallon of liquid to drink from the mouth can feel heavy and awkward. The air displacement while drinking creates a loud gurgling sound that can be disruptive in quiet settings like offices or meetings. A metal straw option would solve both issues and make this bottle perfect. The Bottom Plate Problem: The rubber on the bottom sits slightly higher than the metal rim, which creates two annoying issues. When you set it down on hard surfaces, it makes a bell-like ringing sound. Worse, the exposed metal rim will scratch tables, desks, and countertops because the bottle is so heavy. I've had to start using a placemat to protect my furniture. Bottom Line: Despite the drinking awkwardness and bottom plate design flaw, this is still an excellent water bottle for anyone who needs serious hydration capacity and temperature retention. One might expect quality for a $30 price tag, but it seems better than what I expected. Of course the plastic will wear with time as all plastics do. Bought this as a backup tea kettle to heat water in the metal lining from a battery powered cigarette lighter plug in case of grid power outage. For a test I heated water in it to 150'F and after 10 hours it had dropped to 110'F, which is not so great at keeping things warm for 24h, but if I put in an emergency thermal blanket the results would have been better. The only complaint I have is the screw on cap seems too tight. I lubed it with olive oil but it still requires a little muscle to open. It may be necessary to keep it leak proof, and or insulating, but maybe not. My concern is that with time as the plastic become more brittle, the lid might break when trying to open it, thus causing the product to fail. Read more
