I have very short, thin, fine hair. It wouldn't hold a curl more than 5 minutes. This flatiron worked great. The curl stayed in for 2 days. This one sort of clamps your hair with the arm like a curling iron. You can close it at the roots, pull up just a bit and get lift without the curl. Or clamp and spin it like a curling iron for curls that can be finger combed into a messy style. I love it. Adjustable temperature, lock button for closing. I have given this 4 stars, and the only reason this is not a 5 star review is due to the fact that when i curl with this iron it catches to my hair a little. It is not a completely smooth experience like some of my other irons. Other than that very small thing I love this iron for my hair while I am growing out my pixie cut! I did buy this in July of 2024 however rarely use it, only a few times a month for a few minutes to straight my little sideburn hairs. It randomly died today.
