Worked very well, I was annoyed at the crappy rubber bulb that comes from the Walgreens removal kits so I tried this out and it instantly got out the wax that had built up. I went to the doctor years ago when wax had built up to the point of me not being able to hear out of one of my ears, and the spray bottle seemed to work about as well as the doctor's full water flushing. I'd still go to the doctor if it built up that badly again, but with the spray bottle being more adaptable for occasional solo use, I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it building up that badly again. This is a two-part review. The first part is on the seller - AMAZON. The second part is on the product - WaxBGone Ear Wax Removal Kit. The WaxBGone is sold with and without an Otoscope. I ordered the one with the Otoscope which is about $3+ more in cost. The WaxBGone that I ordered was directly from AMAZON. When I received it, I could tell immediately that it was a repackaged box. The tear open strip at the top of the box had already been pulled and discarded; and replaced with clear cellophane tape. When I inspected the plastic bags with individual contents, I could tell that they had been previously opened. They did NOT, however, appear to have been used; but one item was missing - the Otoscope. I thought I might have accidentally been sent the one that did NOT include the Otoscope, but I looked at the product box and it states the “Otoscope included”. It appears the previous buyer removed the Otoscope and returned the WaxBGone back to AMAZON; and AMAZON repackaged and sold it again without checking to see if everything was there. I was going to return it back to AMAZON for a refund or an exchange, but I needed to clean the wax out of my ears and I didn’t think the Otoscope was that important since I could not look into my own ears. Nevertheless, I’m still pissed that I paid for an Otoscope, but didn’t receive it. I put the blame on AMAZON. With regard to the WaxBGone Ear Wax Removal Kit, it’s a simple, safe but very effective tool. The assembly, use and operation of the WaxBGone is so intuitive that I only briefly read the instruction manual. The rigid extension wand makes it easy to use on yourself with no other assistance needed from anyone else. Overall, I’m pleased with the WaxBGone Ear Wax Removal Kit. I would have give it a 5-star review, but AMAZON screwed it up by sending me a repackaged return with a missing Otoscope. Read more
It works! I even did it by myself! In the past I’ve used Debrox without success and ended up in Urgent Care where they used irrigation very similar to this. So, I figured I could, too. I used the wax softening drops for 15-20 minutes as suggested and then proceeded to the irrigation. Almost two bottles of warm water later, I could hear again. I started out spraying slowly with the first bottle and then picked up the pressure a bit for the second. About half way through bottle#2, I thought things were improving, but gave it a few more squirts and voila! Done! Worth every penny! Read more

This ear cleaner is efficient. It does remove the wax but be easy in how you spray into the ear. Comes with plenty of supplies ! Read more
We took our 12 y/o daughter to the doctor thinking she had an ear infection because she was having difficulty hearing. Dr said it was hard wax, and if it didn't clear up within 2 weeks to bring her back and they would flush out her ears. I decided to try this product instead of waiting. It worked instantly. She hears fine now. Read more
Problems with ear wax are not something I run up against often, but when I do, believe me, they can get bad. If I'm lucky, all that happens is my hearing is muffled and distorted with no other effects, and if I'm not, I get dizzy, my ears ache and itch, and I grow disoriented on top of that. In the past, I've had to arrange emergency doctor's appointments for ear cleansing. I don't have to anymore with this in my medicine cabinet. There are a number of things I like about it. First, I found assembly quite easy. It wasn't hard to figure out how parts fit together. I didn't really need to read the instructions too thoroughly first. It involved nothing terribly complicated and took only a few minutes. If you take my remarkable lack of patience for fiddling with components into account, that's saying something. Everything is made well, easy to put together, and simple to disassemble for cleaning and storage. Second, the ear drops that came with the kit are the only ones I have tried that really worked. I followed the directions for use after I checked out the company's website, and they worked exactly as indicated. I've used peroxide and other types of drops to no avail, so though I was skeptical of these, I tried them and was glad I did. Third and most importantly, the product itself did the job it promised to do. I was able to rid myself of all the wax build-up after using a little more than one full bottle of warm water. There was minimal discomfort involved with the process. I don't think it would have hurt at all if I hadn't procrastinated while waiting for the problem to sort itself out. Because of the way the kit was designed, I could carry out the task alone, without needing to ask anyone else to help me hold the catch basin or anything else. The company's website recommends using the kit with the rigid wand, which this one is, when working solo, and they were right. The procedure was relatively quick, the relief at being able to hear properly again immense. Originally, I bought this because I wanted to try a manual ear irrigation system before going for an electronic version. While I have nothing against the latter and would have tried one if this hadn't helped me, I can attest that this worked precisely as advertised, and I can highly recommend it. Read more
