Since I live in a place where rodeos actually happen, I figured I needed to have this Womens' Cowboy Embroidered Sweater Vest. I love that the sweater itself is a neutral color, so it can go with anything, but that will usually be denim, LOL. The embroidery patch is really beautiful, and I hadn't noticed from the photos on the product page that the embroidery yarns have more pizzaz because they are silky shiny and reflect the light. This sweater is very stretchy and lightweight, which makes it perfect for layering in cooler weather. I like that the waistband has enough elasticity that it grips the body, rather than just hanging down. It is supposed to be hand washed, but I washed it in a lingerie net and laid it flat to dry, and it turned out just fine. As cute as it is, this sweater is not without its issues. The main thing that bugs me is that the embroidery patch by the cowboy's foot makes the sweater material buckle around it. Which is why I washed it, to see if that might help, but it did not. My other gripe is that there are flaws in the sweater, mainly around the waistband, where there are little nubs in the ribbed material. Despite it's small issues though, I think this sweater is super adorable and expect to get a lot of wear out of it. It is currently selling at $34.99, and I actually do think that price is reasonable because it was just so unique and charming. Read more
