The stitching was neat and high-quality, and the overall look was even prettier in person than I expected. I could immediately tell this was designed with care.The material feels luxurious but still lightweight, which makes it perfect for layering over a cami or dress. It drapes nicely and has a romantic, elegant vibe. I was so excited to wear it for an upcoming special occasion because it made me feel confident and stylish — like something that celebrates femininity without sacrificing comfort.However, the only major issue I ran into was with the sleeve fit. Even though I ordered the correct size for my body — I wear plus-size clothing and weigh close to 400 lbs — the arms were simply too tight. I couldn’t even bend my elbows comfortably. This was really disappointing because the rest of the jacket fit beautifully across the shoulders, chest, and waist. It seems like the design doesn’t take into account that plus-size women often have fuller arms, which is a common issue I’ve noticed with many brands. The body might be sized well, but the arms are cut as if for a much smaller frame.It’s frustrating, because otherwise, this piece would have been perfect. The craftsmanship and design are truly stunning — it’s just the fit that makes it unwearable for me. I wish more brands would test their plus-size garments on real plus-size bodies rather than scaling patterns from smaller sizes. It would make such a difference for comfort and inclusivity.Despite this setback, I still want to acknowledge how beautiful this jacket is. If the brand were to adjust the sleeve sizing — or offer a wider cut for the arms — I would absolutely purchase it again. This lace jacket is fully transparent, and is unlined. The seams are bias tape, serge stitched, and though visible due to the transparent, open-weave lace, do not detract from the appearance. The jacket is well designed. The 100% polyester fabric is somewhat stiff, and holds its shape well, even to the sharpness of the crease along the outer edge of the sleeves. The jacket does not sag or drape loosely. The lace is fully transparent. Anything under the jacket will be seen. There is no button or snap front closure, and the jacket is shaped to be worn open as a coverup for a tanktop or camisole, or a night in with nothing under. The fit is exactly as expected. The side panels are over-square, tapered slightly outward at the waist, and the upper sleeves have a little extra room. Sleeves are longer than the body with sufficient length to the wrist. Overall, this is a nicely designed garment. At this price point, I feel it is a good value. Read more
