This is a solid, well-made WDT tool that does exactly what it’s supposed to do — and gives you room to fine-tune it to your preference. The build quality feels good in the hand, and it works well right out of the box. A big plus is that it comes with extra needles, which makes it easy to change out bend needles or customize. I found that removing some of the needles actually improved usability for me. With all nine installed, it tended to push grounds around too aggressively. I’m currently running just 3 needles, and that setup works much better for gently breaking up clumps and distributing grounds without pushing or spilling coffee over the basket. Once dialed in, it’s been very effective and consistent. Overall, this is a great tool from TIVERAIN. At first I did not think I needed this, but after using it for almost a year, I have found out how amazing this product is. It makes the coffee I get much better and lets me pack the grind much more evenly. It is also made of entirely metal, which adds a lot of weight and makes it feel super premium. After using it almost every day for a year now, I still have not needed to replace the needles, yet it came with nine more.
