Have been wearing Patagonia slim fit jeans for a long time. I am 5'11" and 175 pounds. Wear 34W x 32L pant. Those Patagonia fit me perfectly, but style has been discontinued. Around $100 per pair. Not cheap but great jeans. Have found other Weatherproof stuff well made. $42 vs $100, but doesn't say "Patagonia" if that matters to you. They arrived and fit perfectly. Slight elasticity that is comfortable. Well made. Good fit & finish. Good color to dressy look Carolina blue's. Fit as well as the Patagonia's I have been using. Time will tell if they hold up as well as my tried and true Patagonia's, but rather than experiment with new style Pat's figured I'd try these first. I love them! I bought 3 pair a year or so ago. I wear them all the time. They are my favorite jeans. They have held up well. They aren’t heavy which help makes them ridiculously comfortable and easy to move around in. They look great with tennis shoes, cowboy boots, and lace up boots. Read more

I was really excited to get them but sadly noticed right away on the inside tag that they are made from mostly Polyester & Viscose. I’m trying to only wear and purchase natural fabrics because these synthetic ones have bad health effects and they are bad for the environment too. Men especially should not wear pants made of synthetic fabric like polyester because it messes with testosterone levels. It was upsetting because these are listed as 98% cotton. I enjoyed the comfort, look, and fit of these jeans, but I’m going to try a more durable brand, because in normal casual wear, holes begin to wear on the tops of the thighs after just 12 months (~25 days worn, ~10 washings). After just six months, the four pairs that I’ve owned to have done this. With two pairs, the fabric over the zippers would no longer stay over the zippers; ironing did not help. The Levi’s and the Denizon’s that I’ve owned are at least four times more durable. Read more
