This should be a bit obvious for the price, but this won't be anything amazing like $200+ devices. It will not deep clean into the couch, but thin carpets it will do an okay job at. The solution given is an not amazing, so do prepare to purchase a high quality carpet cleaning solution. It has tube that is able to spray solution and suck it up simultaneously, the spray is a bit on the slower side and I sometimes find myself dumping the cleaning solution on the carpet instead. The scrub works nice to dig the solution into the carpet. The main draw back is the suction power, it would really be good at collecting water soaked in the first 1 cm, 2cm max. Just know if it soaks too too much you won't be able to suck it out completely. Otherwise it works as expected, I clean it just by running clean water then the solution, letting it dry as well, it is small and portable which is a nice aspect of it. I’m starting this review for components only and will return to do a full function review once I’ve properly tested it. Firstly, I love how small this is. The tank still has a decent capacity, especially if you don’t have some huge job. The tanks are also removable which seems like it will be very helpful when cleaning. I’ll need to see how it does with being leak proof. It seems as long as I do not slosh it around or fill over max that it will hopefully be fine. I appreciate that you can wrap the hose around it and that there’s an area to wrap the cord as well. The handle is easy to hold and the overall machine is lighter to carry than expected. This is before water but I’m hoping that the chamber will be leak free to allow for not needing to carry it full. The chambers come in and out easily. The tabs are a little more stubborn to open and close and I have some worries about their longevity. They also don’t have a loud click to give an extra clear confirmation that they are closed. There is no where to keep the tools so I’m resorting to storing them inside the chambers. The cord is a decent length. I didn’t measure but it seems 7-8 feet. The cleaning solution is a very smelly floral perfume that I can smell without opening the bottle. The box and machine smell like it. I am a super smeller who doesn’t use fragranced product is and am more sensitive to this than others. I like that the instructions include notes on what other types of cleaning solutions you can use (or shouldn’t) if you want to use those instead. Speaking of, for something made in china, this has very clear and well translated instructions with many pages that cover the various functions and any trouble shooting scenarios. I wish there was an email to contact if needed as it can be difficult to do so through Amazon sometimes. My hope is they would honor giving any assistance or satisfying replacement requests if ever needed. Since I can only speak to the components at this point and the pros and cons mentioned, I’m giving this 4 stars currently. Knocked off one for lack of easy contact if needed and no where to store the tools. Assuming all functions well this will remain my rating.
