Great garment bag but....
So, I purchased this garment bag for my own MOB gown and my daughter's MOH gown. Excellent product, but I wish it was maybe 'rolled'(?) in shipping. It came folded in plastic, which is fine, but I was giving it to my daughter after I personalized it with heat transfer vinyl. I had previously asked a question about 'how to get the creases out' but people wondered why I cared - this is why I cared - it's for a special occassion with personalization. The garment bag is great, don't get me wrong, but I wish they mentioned not to iron it - I didn't know! I mean, I used my heat press to adhere the vinyl on and it was fine. I figured I'd use my regular iron (with a piece of material between) to get the creases (from being folded) out. I guess my iron was way too hot - so my advise if you are doing something like this? Steam the creases out! DON'T IRON even with something in between!! I was dumb about this, yes. I immediately ordered another bag, it's not the manufacturer's error, definitely mine. Dummy me. Will get the new one tomorrow and htv it, then either steam the creases or weigh it down while hanging for a bit. But I do wish the seller had posted 'care' instructions lol. Read more
