It's sturdy and pretty. However, I've found it to be poorly engineered for actually holding controllers. The levels are spaced too close to each other, making it difficult to remove one controller without knocking the one above it. That wouldn't be so bad if the controllers actually sat securely in each space, but they don't. The acrylic is slippery-smooth and the prongs of each level are a bit too short, which means the controllers are always just a light tap away from slipping right off the stand. (This might be partially alleviated by adding some kind of gripping material - but I didn't think it was worth making a project out of it and didn't try.) I found the above to be true with all forms and weights of controllers that I had on hand, which included a DualShock 4, an Xbox 360 aftermarket, a Genesis/Mega Drive-style pad, a Hyperkin Duchess, and an SNES-style pad.
