These are more than I expected!! They are however too big for my wrists but I overlap them on my weightlifting gloves! These allow me to lift heavier and complete reps with having to stop because my grip gives way.. with these I can finish the set with no problem! Read more
I purchased these to help with using my rowing machine because it's my favorite exercise, but holding the bar makes my hands hurt since I have arthritis. These work beautifully to relieve pressure on my hands and transfer it to my wrists instead so I can still enjoy my rower without my hands hurting afterwards. They tighten well to fit my smaller wrists and are easy for me to put on and take off without assistance Read more
These lifting hooks are solid and get the job done if you're trying to go heavier without compromising grip. They’re ideal for deadlifts, barbell rows, and any pull movements where your grip gives out before your muscles do. 💪 Excellent for Heavier Pull Movements The steel-coated hooks (page 3) really help lock onto the bar securely, letting you focus on form and reps without over-relying on grip strength. I noticed immediate improvement in my pulling movements like deadlifts and rows. Perfect for progressing through heavier lifts without wrist strain. 🧤 Comfortable Wrist Support with Padding The thick neoprene wrist padding (page 3) does a good job of distributing pressure, even when lifting over 200 lbs. The Velcro closure is adjustable and holds firm throughout the session. It’s snug without cutting off circulation or digging into your skin. 📏 Fit May Not Be Universal One downside—like a reviewer pointed out on page 5—is the wraparound Velcro strap can feel oversized if you have smaller wrists. I have average-sized wrists and had to pull the strap fairly tight to get a secure fit. A smaller sizing option would be a welcome improvement. 👜 Durable Construction, Great Value The nylon straps and stitching feel rugged, and the hooks themselves are sturdy. You can tell they’re built for repeated use over time. Bonus: they come in a bold red-and-black design that stands out in your gym bag . ✅ Pros: Hooks offer great grip assistance for deadlifts, rows, etc. Padded wrist straps add comfort and stability Durable construction, good for long-term use Easy to adjust and take off mid-workout ❌ Cons: May feel bulky or loose on smaller wrists Not as versatile for pressing movements Overall: If you’re training for strength and find your grip limiting your progress, these hooks are a fantastic tool. Comfortable, well-built, and highly effective—just be mindful of the fit if your wrists are on the smaller side. Read more
I never knew these devices existed but I saw something similar on an industrial site for aiding in lifting heavy things repeatedly. I was having a hand procedure in a week or so, so I decided to look for them. I came across these for weightlifting. I have lifted heavy weights for decades, since HS, and to my mind if you are lifting so heavy that you need lifting hooks you are doing something wrong. BUT, if you need to splint or bolster your grip due to an injury or a hand procedure, these work great. I used them for pull-ups while healing from the procedure (doctor approved), on one hand only. They are really well made BUT as some have noted, NOT for the thin wristed. Now I am not one of those thick boned types, medium boned, but wear extra-large gloves and my wrists are certainly not dainty. (~7 1/2" , 19 cm.) However, I do have only about 3/8ths of an inch of hook and loop before I run out. The hook and loop is really "bitey" and holds really well enough to give good support to a 220 pounder for one arm pull-ups, so there is some leeway. But if you are a smaller boned person you may want to look elsewhere. Unless you eat a lot of spinach . . . You get two. Read more
Great straps but they are too big for me. Going to have to return. These are great if you have a 7 in wrist or bigger. Read more
Everything was exactly as stated and fast shipping. Would order from these folks again Read more
Great for giving you the ability to focus on the pull instead of the grip Read more
