I thought I would want a weight plate tree with wheels. But I'm glad I did not get one with wheels because I like the stability of this basic weight plate rack and much lower cost. Simple to put together, stable, and I actually now prefer the 1-inch diameter bars which make putting on and taking off any weight plate (especially the heavy 2-inch hole plates) so easy. I ordered one of these because I wanted to get my weight plates off the ground and because it was cheap. Unlike some of those described in the one star reviews, mine arrived with all of the parts and the instructions inside the box. It wasn’t difficult to assemble and it does the job. My only minor quibble is that my vintage, threaded Bollinger weight plates will not fit on the rack. My non-threaded weight plates fit just fine. Read more
