This stuffy is well made and the weight distribution is well done. The face is adorable. I have been able to removed the weighted part to wash the stuffy animal cover. I use "Slothie" in my music classroom for students who are in need of calming. He is very effective! I am at a K-8 school this year. This is a good weighted stuffed animal. I've found weighted items have been helping me relax and reduce my anxiety. I just set him on my chest when I lay down and it helps. My new friend! I decided to get a weighted stuffed animal, yes I’m an adult, so what? I have anxiety and heard that weighted stuffed animals are helpful with that, so I decided to get this guy. His name is Monte by the way. He is not only super cute, but he is soft and cuddly too. I love the size of him. He’s perfect for snuggling up with or sitting in my lap while I read. I like the weight best. At first it feels a bit heavy, but it ends up being just right. I haven’t tried to wash him yet, but I like the idea that I can take the inside out and just washed the fur…hmm that’s a little creepy when I put it that way. Anyway, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars, is because sometimes the sand or whatever is in it, bunches up in the arms and gets hard and won’t separate.
