Wonderfully weighted this little comfort companion is great for any ages over the age of 3. The weight is very comforting and helps those with anxiety find grounding whether your in need of a hug or just having something soft to hold close. This little guy is one fluffy friend that keeps on giving. Not only has it helped with my restless sleep it is also a fun little companion to have sitting in my lap after a stressful work day when I just need that something to help take off the edge. Plush is rather large and the long arms are weighed at the ends to help simulate a hug. So whether your looking for a hug or just some weight to help you feel secure in your sleep but its to hot for a blanket. I highly recommend getting a little friend or two. I loved mine so much I ordered a second one so I could also keep one in my office. Read more
I have autism, anxiety along with other issues (I'm38 but mid-functioning). I found weighted items help and so I got this shortly aftet my emotional therapy cat was put down in hopes it might help. This koala had been a huge help. Having it on me when I sleep has helped me fall asleep faster on my non-insomnic days and helps keep me asleep longer. The long arms are great for wrapping around you and it feels like a hug. The arms are awesome as although they have tons of beads, the way the koala was made, there are a few small pockets lined up next to one another. This means no shifting of the beads in the arms. Beads are also located on the back an bottom of the koala, making it snugglingly. There appears to be no beads in the head, which is great. The fur is so soft and I love that there is hardly any different textures besides the eyes. It means my sensory issues won't be triggered. The koala is very well made from what I can tell. I've accidentally dangled it feom its ear for a few minutes, but no damage was found. I can't see the stitching as it is covers up somehow, but I think the koala will be around for quite some time. It was expensive but I do think it was worth it. Other people (adults older than I) even want one so I can say this can help. Read more
I'm an adult and have severe PTSD. I don't go out and socialize and I want to add a benefit that's surprised me. I won't interact with live people whenever I can avoid it, but I'll do long-distance movie night over the internet or send pics of feelings, lol!! I didn't realize that was what i was doing until writing this review; I just knew I used this guy to be funny and relay sentiments. But I don't take pics of me, but I have feelings to relay, so I do it through my sloth, lmao. That face of this guy, it's perfect for all scenarios somehow and it's also a perfect face for cheering up. i have felt strange doing it, but writing this review, I get it now, but... I hug this sloth to sleep every single night and every time i grab him, that face makes me smile. Quality: I would think he's be covered in coffee stains and such bc I'm a slob, but he's shockingly together. He's had lots of wear and rough care bc I toss and turn and I unceremoniously tug him forcefolly from whatever blanket he's shoved under and ZERO damage. His arms are nice and long so they don't flop down if you move. the weight is perfectly (in my opinion) sewed in, where the weighted material is pockets to keep from dissipating entirely from an area, bot not SO pocketed that it ruins the feel of the little arms. I love this little dude. He makes me smile every time I grab him for holding under my chin when I'm closing my eyes. He's what I think of when I close my eyes, and that's a gift. And something they teach me in PTSD school (lol) is that physical items are "grounding" and feeling his fur and weight is very helpful for keeping the mind back in the present. Again, I'm only JUST realizing this as I'm typing. Up until now, I just loved him bc he's cute, makes me laugh, and for whatever reason, is something that has been postive at sleep time so I grab him bc he's there. I didn't realize exactly HOW big the difference was until noting here that the sleeping thoughts are the worst and his presence assists managing them, which is much more significant than even I realized. HIGHLY recommended prior to Writing this review, and I still highly recommend it. Please note the pics, where he's talking in the mic to my long-distance friends, he's ready for movie night, and just a pic showing those little hands are love and his tummy is love and his face is love, with all heart and cutie patootey expression. 10/10 (and look how not-filthy he is!! i put that dude in popcorn tubs! and he's not showing the hard times he's seen, lol) Read more

I am an adult going through severe greif. I received a Demdaco Heartful hugs lamb from my daughter for Christmas. The Lamb is so cute and comforting I wanted to try another brand . So excited for it to arrive and VERY DISAPOINTED. It was almost twice the price and in comparison CHEAPO Looking. For half the price I paid I would probably keep it. For this price I will be returning it. I still think it's overpriced ...put it around my neck before I packed it up and as I already knew looks are not everything. It gives the best hugs ever.I can't let it go and well actually he is cute ...Still over priced though 😁 Read more
It is big and fluffy. Beautiful one. Read more
Super soft and fuzzy. There is no warmable inside which was disappointing, but everything else is amazing. It's weighted in the body and the arms and it's heavy enough that you can wrap it around you and it will stay there. It feels really well made and after about 6 months it is holding up really well.
