The first one we were sent had the incorrect weight, But when we contacted Amazon it was replaced with the correct one. We ordered the 20 lb weight vest for my son, he's 6'2 at around 230 lbs. For some reason I expected a 20 lb weight vest to not be very heavy, especially if it's all distributed throughout the vest.. But this weight vest is super heavy to me! I am a woman who's 5'7 and not very strong I guess lol, but it's just pretty dang heavy. He did wear it when he first bought it with a t-shirt, but then he wore it over his hoody. He wears it around the house sometimes & on walks. It didn't seem to bother his skin too much except he mentioned rubbing on his shoulder bones a bit, like the top of his shoulders where his bone is more pronounced, I guess it might have been a bit irritating rubbing when he moved around.. Maybe that's why he put the hoodie on under it after that. I will say that I am concerned that you can't EVER wash it, which makes sense because it's full of heavy beans or beads or whatevers in there.. But I really wish there was some kind of waterproof/sweat proof cover or sleeve, something that maybe velcroed over it & was washable-- Somebody should definitely invent that! Maybe I will try to create something like that, or ask somebody crafy to sew one for me lol.. All in all this is a great weight vest, does what it's supposed to do, all the pieces are there and correct, It does not have a weird smell like some other said, The length and size fit a man that is 6'2 & 230 lbs, It wasn't too tight or too loose it fit normally it seems, Tho it is a bit awkward to get on the way it's made to sit on your shoulders, It definitely doesn't have any extra room or slack to stretch it out or slide it on, It definitely does not stretch lol. It's packed very full and tightly with the beans or whatever is inside. It is hard to store though, it's heavy and you can't put it on a hanger, and it doesn't really have a place to go, I wish there was also something you could figure out for that, cuz I hate the fact that it's over there on the chair in the corner because it has nowhere else to go and it's too heavy to be on anything that hangs. It is heavy. I bought this to help prevent bone loss. it has different weights, but all the weight is just sewn in the harness. There aren't weights to take out. It is comfortable. It does the job, but it is the weight it is. I don't know why it has different weights like it can change, unless you open it up and pour out the contents. Read more

This vest fits me well. I am 5'1" and 110 pounds. There is an adjustable strap for larger sizes. I have osteoporosis and am wearing it to hopefully help maintain what bone I have via the added weight. I walk the dog wearing it and after the first day I didn't really notice much difference in how hard it was to walk. I chose to go with a lighter weight because too much weight can give me low back pain. I am very pleased with it and would buy it again. Read more

Took the vest out today and it definitely did its job - went walking for about an hour and was ready to take it off. I didn’t notice any type of smell from it, and it was comfortable to wear. I feel it definitely helped with making my workout more intense as well! The straps were comfortable to adjust and it’s great that it comes with a phone pocket!
