I only write reviews like this when I feel that I need to. No one paid me or sent me or asked me to try out or review anything. I’ve simply been having a terrible time in finding a good weighted vest that can fit like a glove. Finally, I’ve found a good one with this. Besides the front 2 straps being adjustable tight, the bottom side strap adjusts tight and the top side strap can be adjusted very tight so that the vest hugs your body or the top side strap can simple be removed altogether. So much better than the loads of other “adjustable” ones. This one will fit a big guy tight and not move at all, or even a small dude with a 28” chest and still not move around at all. The weight is spread properly on the shoulder pads, it’s not going to place all of its weight on the stitches. The back pocket can and the pockets on both bottom front sides can be loaded with extra iron sand packs that you can buy on Amazon if you want to be able to add a bit more weight in the future. One 2 pound pack per front pocket and 2 to 3 in the back lets you add 8-10 extra pounds if needed in the future. Though the added weight packs in the back move around during activity. Either way, being able to expand it if you want to is a good thing. The American flag patch can easily be removed and replaced with whatever Velcro patch or insignia you’d like, or even other things you can hang on Velcro. Though the American flag patch comes off somewhat easily, so the amount of weight you can put on it for something other than a patch with vary. There’s a ring for carabiners on the left side of the chest and there’s a “slot” for cards (ID, name tag, etc..) on the center of the back. You can also place a high visibility reflector card or a small light in the card slot too. The build quality seems to be good, but only time will tell. Read more
This is a great product! I am around 212-215lbs and I got the 16 lbs vest. At first I was scared holding the box because it was kinda heavy, but on, it is not too overwhelming while standing. I would say it’s comfortable. I love the adjustable side straps and the front straps are not too invasive. The combo of straps is great if you have a larger chest. The pockets fit my iPhone 12 and my larger work phone snuggly. If you aren’t very patriotic you can remove the flag patch, it’s Velcro. Overall, it fits me well and I can put my xl hoodie over it, but it does look a little goofy/makes me look fatter. But it works. If you’re bigger like me I would recommend this one because it’s more adjustable than the other ones on Amazon and fits a larger range of people. I also don’t notice any smells, at least not any bad ones. I haven’t done a workout with it, but walking is fine. Read more
I bought this weighted vest for my walks. The weight is evenly distributed, so it doesn’t pull on my shoulders like some other vests I’ve tried. The padding is soft and comfortable, even during longer walks. Read more
I bought the 40 lb. Vest Good solidly.built vest. Weight evenly distributed, good fit and adjustability. I took off 1 star because there are two adjustment straps underneath the arms which I don’t think are necessary and when taking off the vest one cut my arm so I removed them… They can be used to really hug you sides but vest is very stable and I think the “cut/scrape” hazard wasn’t worth it. I like the pockets especially tge one for the cell phone. I also liked the “loops” on the adjustment straps that slide to keep the excess strap after adjustment from hanging down. Read more
Happy with this vest. It’s comfortable and has several pockets for holding various items. It’s good quality and has padding on the shoulders so it’s not uncomfortable. Wearing it seems to give me extra energy on work outs. Read more
This is an awesome vest for its price. Material is nice, very cool looking details. It is WAY heavier than I expected (mine is 30 lbs), which is not bad in the end, but think twice and maybe 20 lbs would be more practical for daily cardio (as a rule of thumb I wouldn't advice buying more than 10% of your bodyweight).
