Got these for $75, and for that price they are some great stretchy selvedge jeans. Would not have paid the normal $150 for these, as I don't like the Weird Guy taper as much as the True Guy. Cannot wear these with any of my boots. They were a bit too long, but not enough that I felt the need to get them hemmed like my other pair of non-stretch N&F (true guy) Read more
I like the dark color, and the workmanship is very good, as I've always found with this brand. To look at the jeans, the stretch is not obvious at all. It's just enough so that wearing the jeans is a little more comfortable. I still prefer 100% cotton, but of stretch jeans, I like these a lot. Read more
My 1st pair of selvedge- what a difference in look and feel. The 33” fit me perfectly (same waist as I take in Levi’s). The stretch in the fabric is just enough for comfort without changing the look or feel. The color is great- very dark & sophisticated- perfect contrast to the cuffed (assuming you are cuffing…) For those wanting to try out ‘real’ denim these are a perfect first step! Read more

Update: I exchanged these for the Super Guy fit in 32 and am 100% keeping them. They are way more slim cut though so if you like a more comfortable seat, choose the Weird Guy. Disclaimer: I should have taken photos. I really like these. I'm still in the process of getting a pair of them that fits with the level of snug that I prefer, but that's more because I'm new to this brand and I have been basically using vanity sizing my whole life (G@p, 0ld N@vy, etc.) where I've been anywhere from a 31 to a 35 depending on the brand and how much excessive stretchy rubbery stuff they are infused with. So I'm not rushing finding the right pair since I know it might take a while. My waist is 34.5 inches at least. So, it was surprising when the size 33s fit quite large on me. I could pull out at least 2 inches from my waist without stretching the denim. Before choosing, I read a lot of advice and denim blogs about the various fits. Consensus seems to lean towards sizing down about an inch, so they can stretch and fit better etc. This didn't turn out to be the case with me. However, I can't blame it on the company since I am still figuring out how they should fit for long term wear. My size on the chart was very generous to my preferences, but I am picky about not-too-baggy not-too-skinny balance. I have re-ordered this nightshade denim, but in the Super Guy fit and in a size 32. Testing if the skinnier cut and going down one size will hit right. (Will update if I remember) I love the color, "black dye added to the natural indigo" is gorgeous. It's really dark but still has a very deep blue undertone that stands out to me. Obvs my rating is mostly due to initial appearances and feel. But they felt comfortable right away. Eager to try on a variant. Read more
Order these as a test for the try before you buy on Amazon. Got them pretty quickly and I was right to size up and not down as some had suggested. They fit perfectly and the color is exactly what I wanted . Very dark blue almost black. I ordered from another company the same brand but had to return because of fit so very happy with Amazon's try before you buy. I am keeping them and now I know the correct size. Naked and famous I love your product. I would suggest to anyone looking for this type of denim to try before you buy. Read more
