The only regret I have about these boots is that I didn't order them 4 months ago instead of now when it's almost spring. Love love love the boots so much so that I already ordered the same in a different color and I would order a third pair if they had it in my size. As usual with Amazon I do a lot of research and I read a lot of reviews and I took the advice of many and ordered half a size up and it was definitely the right choice because they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 6 and 1/2 to a 7 and I ordered a 7 and 1/2 medium and I believe the seven would have been too small and would have hurt my feet so I definitely recommend buying at least a half size larger than you normally wear. They come up very close to my knee which is higher than I expected but I like it and I do like the flat heel. I do think I would also enjoy it if they made a version with a 1-2 inch wedge heel as I am short and I think those are cute. I would definitely buy this boot with a wedge heel for sure. It's still cold so I'm hoping I'll be able to wear them a few times. I got the black ones and ordered the tan and I plan to wear both this week! As far as some comments about them not holding up for very long mine appear to be very well made and they are obviously not meant to be worn in snow or slush or water so I think if you wear them sensibly as they are meant to be worn they should hold up just fine for a long time to come. They are obviously not meant for harsh weather. I've had these on my wish list for 4 months and I'm glad I finally got them and I think that anybody who buys them will be very pleased. They are not pointed toes. But I like them I am a retro person, and this is exactly what I am looking for they fit perfect! I had to go up a half size just in case. And I have no problem with that but being older they fit perfect. I will probably wear them till they fall off. Read more
