I like the heavier weight of the fabric as it drapes nicely and provides a little extra warmth. It's true to size and is comfortable to wear. The red buttons do you mean that you can't really switch out the belt because it only matches with the red belt included. That said the red on teal is a really bold fun look that would be diminished if the buttons weren't red too. I am 5 ft 7 in and 135 lb and a large fits well. I'm almost in between sizes but one with a larger one because of my large bust and the belt means that it's easy to cinch in the waist. The dress is a nice long length. The bottom sits below the knee despite my height which makes for a really great classic look. This would be a great choice for other tall women or women who just want a more modest hemline. Read more

This is one of the better dresses I've gotten from this brand, but not the best. Their sizes continue to run large, so keep that in mind. I ordered a small and, like the others, is more like a medium/large. The color is exactly like the photos in its description, so no surprise there. As with their other dresses, however, the belt is awful. This company doesn't seem to provide belts that coincide with the different sizes of dresses; I feel it's a "one size fits all" belt, which is anything but. Again, I order their size small and every belt is the exact same length and way too big. The belts would be better suited for size large or XL. They're also made poorly with no proper way to secure it to their dresses, rendering them useless. I'm still giving this particular one 4 stars just because it looks better than others they offer. Overall, I still feel that their prices are inflated for what you get. Read more

This dress is pretty cute. The fit seemed pretty spot on except for the red belt. The belt seemed like it was meant for a child. It is sooo small. I don’t understand why the size of the belt doesn’t fit the size of the dress. It’s a shame. Read more

The Wellwits Women’s Color Block Belt Cap Sleeves Vintage Blazer Work Dress in blue and green is one of those rare finds that perfectly balances professional polish with vintage charm. From the first wear, I could tell it was designed with attention to detail — it hugs in the right places, flatters the waist, and gives that instant “put-together” confidence boost that’s ideal for work, meetings, or evening events. The color-block design is striking without being loud. The deep blue paired with the cool green creates a slimming illusion that defines your shape beautifully. The fabric is structured but soft, offering enough stretch to move comfortably while still keeping a tailored look. It feels like a higher-end piece — thick enough not to show lines, but breathable enough for long wear. The cap sleeves give it a polished, feminine finish that’s perfect for warm weather or layering under a blazer in cooler months. The belt cinches the waist just right, creating that timeless hourglass silhouette. I also love the blazer-inspired neckline and lapel detailing, which gives the illusion of a two-piece outfit — it looks sophisticated and professional without being stiff. Fit: I ordered the X-Large, and the fit was spot-on — it contours without clinging, and the length hits just at the knee (a perfect balance between modest and modern). The zipper runs smoothly, and the seams are neat with no loose threads. Highlights: ✅ Elegant, vintage-inspired color block design ✅ Comfortable stretch fabric that holds shape all day ✅ Flattering belted waist and blazer-style neckline ✅ Cap sleeves offer a tailored yet soft look ✅ Perfect length for professional or semi-formal occasions Verdict: The Wellwits Color Block Work Dress feels like something out of a classic film — timeless, structured, and effortlessly chic. It transitions seamlessly from office hours to after-hours, pairing just as well with pumps and a tote as with heels and statement jewelry. If you want a dress that commands respect but feels like confidence, this one delivers. Read more

I think this is the 3rd or 4th Wellwits dress I have ordered for my wife. I was nervous about it because even though the first couple were very cute, they were also polyester and the material felt very cheap. The third one I got I only ordered because it was the first dress from them I've seen that was 100% cotton, and I sort of swore off ordering their polyester clothing, but I thought this one was so cute when it was offered to me I decided to take the gamble. I'm happy I did because my wife loves it and has been wearing it a ton since it arrived. I think it looks great on her-- I got the Blue Green color in XL. My wife has a 38" bust, 34" waist, and 36" hips. The flared skirt is very flattering and the top isn't too tight. The red buttons and belt are nice details that make it look extra cute and vintage. She's been wearing it with red patent mary jane heels and it's a super cute look. The material doesn't feel as costume-y as some of the other dresses I've gotten from them. Be sure to check the size chart because I think they run a little small, my wife is usually a Large. Update: the belt is small, as other reviewers mentioned, but my wife didn't bring it up until I noticed one of the grommets had fallen out earlier today. -1 star for that. Read more
