They last about a year of continuous daily use, taking them on and off. They are comfortable and fit well on my face without slipping down. These readers are lightweight and the frames and lenses are slightly bigger than your typical readers from a dollar store or Walmart. They are not high quality frames, but there are a lot of them for the price and they fit my fat head. If your head is wider at the temples like mine, it is a good deal for cheap readers. I like the variety of colors in the frames, as well. As with most cheap readers, I don't think they will hold up very long without breaking. I do tend to go through cheap readers pretty quickly, so I don't want to spend a lot on them. Plus, I like to have a pair in place everywhere I need to use them, such as in each vehicle and in every drawer in the house, so the cheaper readers make it affordable to be able to do that. Then, I don't have to worry about carrying one pair with me everywhere I go, which makes them more prone to break. I guess the biggest bonus about these glasses is that I have a hard time finding cheap readers in brick and mortar stores that are wide enough to frame my face. I don't have to worry as much about them snapping off at the hinges the way the narrower dollar store glasses often do. Unfortunately, the set I received arrived poorly packaged. They came in a box that was packaged in a thin plastic Amazon envelope. The box was crushed and opened. Moreover, two of the four pairs of glasses were not sealed in plastic with the protective stickers over the lenses. Because I only tried out one pair of them, I'm not even sure if they are all the same magnification, because the stickers are missing. My guess is that some of them were used and returned back to Amazon. Nevertheless, the glasses are still in good shape and they didn't cost that much. For me, these are worth the price. I did, however, take off a few stars for the packaging and shipping. Read more
