My kids are learning on this and it’s been great so far. The keys feel like a real piano, not a flimsy keyboard, and there’s plenty of space for two hands as they start to play more serious songs. I’ll sit down and use it too and it doesn’t feel “beginner only” at all. The sound is clean and full enough for our living room, and the built-in speakers get plenty loud without sounding harsh. I also like how it looks - more like a piece of furniture than gear. For one piano that works for both kids and adults, this one has been a win here. Read more

Setting up this digital piano was easier than I expected. The assembly instructions were clear, and once everything was in place, it looked great in my living room. The color display is a nice touch, making it simple to navigate through the various settings without flipping through the manual. I also liked how solid the build feels, from the wooden frame to the sliding key cover that keeps everything protected when not in use. Playing on it feels surprisingly natural. The fully weighted keys have that satisfying resistance that reminds me of the upright piano I practiced on growing up. The pedals feel sturdy and responsive, which makes a big difference when playing pieces that need more expression. The built-in tones and metronome are perfect for practicing, and being able to connect it to my computer with the MIDI/USB interface opens up a lot of creative possibilities. Overall, it’s a fantastic option for both learning and casual performance. Read more

This keyboard is very nice to use. It is essential to have a keyboard that has weighted keys, that really makes all the difference. These keys are smooth and don't have the ivory feel, but they do have a decent pressure. Know, this is a very affordable keyboard so you aren't going to have the perfect feel of the keys, but they definitely have a decent weight to them which is great for someone who is first learning to play piano. If you already play piano then you may be a bit disappointed in this keyboard as it doesn't feel completely realistic, but it is a fine option to have if you are trying to save money but don't want to buy something that is completely low quality. The build of the keyboard itself is very nice. It is a full keyboard but it fits in a relatively small space. It is not hard to set up and provides you with all the tools you need for assembly. The biggest issue I have with it is that the volume always defaults at the same place. You cannot have it turn on and use the same volume you previously had it set, and you have to push a button to lower the volume rathr than turning a dial (which would be much simpler). Another issue I have is that the base notes always overpower the higher octives. Thre is no way to really balance the lower octaves and th higher, the lower always win out. This is particularly annoying when you are trying to play classical music. For the price, I definitely think this rates 4 stars, but ther are some important downsides to this keyboard that you should keep in mind if you are considering buying it! Read more

We got this piano mainly for our young children. I have some intermediate piano experience, but I also had my brother over, who is a semi-professional piano player. The piano is great for beginners, but it lacks the feel and voicings required by professionals. The piano is solid and gets plenty loud. It looks good enough to keep in a living room. It is absolutely good enough for beginners and even intermediates, but there are some downsides with this particular design that knock some stars off for me. In terms of build quality, the piano has some serious defects that need to be addressed. As you can see in the second photo, some holes were covered by the veneer, and I had to puncture through the veneer to assemble the piano. This left some of the veneer torn, which is visible in the fully assembled piano. Assembly was even worse. I had to use an orbital sander to get the thin panel in front of your legs to actually line up with the holes, this is completely unacceptable. It would take probably 40 minutes of sanding by hand to get the panel to fit. The interface panel is also lacking. Volume control is bad for two reasons: 1) it does not remember your last volume setting, it just starts at the same, very loud volume each time and 2) volume should be a slider or knob, not buttons that very slowly respond. The voice selection is poor: not enough piano and especially electric piano voicings. Way too many brass voicings. Some of the voicings are just sped up or slowed down depending on the key pressed, the pitch isn't really changing. The feel is decent, although a little stiff and the spring isn't amazing. My brother was able to make the piano sound good, but some of the faster runs were a little bogged down due to the stiffness. Overall, the value isn't exceptional for what you are getting. I think you'd be better off looking for a used (electric) piano from a reputable brand. I was able to find some for less in my area that would be better quality options. Read more

This digital keyboard is an incredible value for the money. The assembly was pretty smooth and the instructions were easy to understand. It is such a powerful piece. This has an amazing realistic grand piano sound which is amazing. It has dual headphone jacks for duets. The 3 pedal design works well. The weighted hammer action has great touch response. I love the elegant and traditional upright design. This is so easy to use. It is absolutely perfect for beginners. I thought it would take up a lot more room than it does too which is such an added bonus. The materials used for this are very high quality and durable and it arrived carefully packaged. Read more
