The dress is quite simple, but still elegant. It is a more office professional style dress. I love wearing neutrals - especially black - for everyday, regardless of what activity I have that day, even if it’s super casual. This is definitely a dress that is styled for professional presentation. It has crisp, tailored lines. I do think the fabric could be a bit more structured and higher quality, although it gets about 4.5 stars in that category from me and still keeps the dress in a five star rating overall. Couldn’t be more pleased with this dress. I had a work event in the evening but didn’t have time to go home and change in between. This dress was the perfect blend of office casual and event wear. We ordered it in advance for an event months away so we ordered up a size (my daughter is usually a women’s medium but she’s a teen and still growing, so we got a large) so it’s hard to say if the fit is perfect, but it does seem to be about right. This dress is very simple and cute enough but it looks a cheap and the pockets are faux. The buttons are actually working buttons which makes the dress look a little nicer but the stitching is not well done so I don't think this will withstand any amount of wear or wash.
