Worked perfectly right out of the box. (1) Red, yellow and white AV composite cables from my Philips VCR/DVD audio and video output ports to the comparable Wenter AV ports; (2) Installed a 3 foot HDMI cable from the Wenter HDMI port to my Vizio TV's HDMI2 port; (3) Installed a USB cable from the TV's only USB port to the Wenter USB-C port to supply power [5V] to the Wenter AV to HDMI Converter.
