Toddler loves it. Parents love it! Win-win
Our 3.5 year old has been am/pm potty trained for about a year now. Recently she has started holding her pee in. Sometimes it's due to being distracted, which is perfectly normal for her age. But other times it's because she just doesn't want to? I didn't want to add more pressure to her by making her feel bad for not peeing etc. So I decided to go this route. We keep it in the bathroom right in front of the toilet. She gets a sticker for each time she goes to the bathroom herself, pees and wipes. Once she hits a star, she gets a reward from our reward basket. I got a 100 pack of stickers from amazon for $5. I already had scratch and sniff stickers and some temporary tattoos that I got from amazon last year. (Highly recommend the scratch and sniff ones. They are a hit with everyone! We've had food ones that we added to her favorite book so everytime we read it, she gets to enjoy it another way) Anyways, I got off track there. So I have a reward basket with stickers. She can choose one every time she gets on a star. It's made potty time much easier. I also go to the library and pick a few extra books and keep them ad potty books. It helps reinforce a positive experience with the bathroom. When she finishes a chart, she gets to pick a eraser buddy/ desk buddy. She loves these! They pull apart and put back together so they are fun, don't make a mess and come in cute shapes and sizes. I got a 10 pack from dollar tree. She can also pick a "bonus time" which means on whatever day she chooses, she can ask for an extra book at bedtime, or a few more minutes of play time, bathtime etc. The bonus time has to be agreed by both of us so on a night where I'm slammed busy, she couldn't pull out the bonus time card. She actually enjoys this over the other rewards. Back to the chart. This chart is WORTH IT 100%. They are semi laminated so it doesn't rip easily. The stickers are cute , they stay on easily and are easy for little fingers to pull off/ put on. Our bathroom is small so that chart comes in contact with steam from our shower, daily. It never warps nor do the stickers fall off. It is a quality product and well worth the cost! **bonus, you can use it for EVERYTHING. We have considered using it as a chore chart or a summer reading chart etc etc. I hope this helps your decision a bit <3 Read more
