My local nurseries and hardware stores seem to have dropped this wonderful glove from their inventory, and the lesser-value gloves I buy just to get through a month or two of weeding and pruning never fail to expose my right forefinger before too long, when I have to do a lot of pulling at the roots of weeds in the dirt with my hands. Besides working my own cantankerous garden, I volunteer in an orchard where the cleanup can be rough on gloves. I've had a lot of garden gloves over the years and these are my favorite. I tend to gift them to other gardeners now because I love them so much. The leather palm protects your hands from pokey things, but doesn't affect dexterity. The spandex back makes them comfortable and flexible. The velcro wrist closure is large so it's easy to open and close. And my favorite thing about these gloves is they are fully washable. Sometimes I get them completely soaked with clay mud and they get really stiff, so I just throw them in the washing machine on hand-wash setting and hang them to air dry and they are just like new and soft again! Best gloves I've owned. I'm hard on gardening gloves. Aside from heavy-duty Thornmaster rose gloves (which lack dexterity for weeding), I've never had a pair of garden gloves at any price that lasted a whole season, much less survived to work the next year. The fingers always tear out, usually in the first couple weeks. But after months of frequent use, these are still completely intact. They're comfortable, they fit well, and my hands stay relatively clean; wrist-high gloves are never going to be dirt-proof. I've hosed them down and hand-washed them several times--no shrinking or stiffening. Four stars instead of five because tiny needles and thorns will go through them, e.g. pine or barberry. Read more

I am happy with this purchase. I ordered XS and at first I thought they were too snug. I am a small person but have long fingers. After wearing them a time or two they have molded to my hand shape and are comfortable. I might try S next time but I do like that the snug fit keeps them from being sloppy. The bright magenta color helps me find my gloves when they are mixed in with the hubby's. I would buy this brand again. Would be helpful to have sizing info. Read more

Love these gloves. The fingers are sturdy and have not worn out all summer long, and I wear them a lot in the garden for all sorts of jobs. I ordered by the size chart and got a medium -but- I should have gotten a small. I'm 5'3" and have regular size hands, not big or small. The medium is big in the figure tips and around the middle of my hand. In spite of that, I still like them. Will buy them again in future. Great glove. Read more
