Our dog loves this item! It's the one toy we keep outside for him to play fetch with him. I will say it's a little bit heavy for a younger puppy or a small dog. And if there are two different sizes I would have gotten the larger one. Our puppy is 6 months old and he's already probably gained 10 or 15 pounds since we got this. He's going to be a big boy so I thought a large one would work well. Love love that it is made out of recycled ocean plastic. There's so much garbage that can be purchased for dogs it doesn't last long and that is definitely not sustainable. It seems important to have a few high quality toys for a dog for stimulation and enrichment so that this brand, West paw is now my go-to for dog toys. Read more

I have an 11 month puppy who destroys every toy I’ve gotten him. This one has held up very well he has not chewed through it. Love the value for the cost, and it’s easy for him to see it with the blue color. Read more

We have two French bulldogs and they love these bones! Although after 3 to 5 months of use, they’re torn up and need to be thrown away. Compared to other chew toys these definitely outlast. Read more

My dog had to go to softer bones but loves chewing. Vet said everything they chew should be able to be imprinted with the fingernail. This passes that test yet he hasn’t gotten any pieces off. Perfect bone to keep healthy teeth. Read more

I just purchased this bone on 10/18/24 based on reviews of its durability. I am sad to report this is not for tough chewers. I have a 1yo corgi male, less than 24 hours after receiving the bone he was able to chew off a large chunk! I purchased this due to his size but also bought a larger option from this company that is meant for large breed dogs. Hopefully that one will be more durable than this bone. Read more

My dog broke 2 molars chewing on nylabones. This was a top recommendation from the dog hygienist after they repaired his teeth. Some dog “need” to chew that’s mine and I’m so happy I found a safe alternative for the rest of his teeth! No more sliver fractures and he can chew on toys again! Read more

This toy lasted a whole hour of my dog playing with it. The one end started coming apart in chunks and I had to take it away. Not recommended for continuous play with an aggressive chewer. Read more
