Western Chief Womens Neoprene Faux Fur Mid Insulated Waterproof Cold Weather Boots

I've been many years without boots because I couldn't find any that were cute, functional, and didn't weigh a ton. I have sciatica in both hips and need boots that don't weigh a lot and these are just light enough. I like that the rubber is soft and I don't have to worry about my legs chafing from them. Being rubber they are waterproof which is what I need out in the mud and snow with the horses. After reading many reviews on these boots, I ordered a half size up (I'm a 9.5 wide and ordered a 10) and am glad I did because they are not too tight. It would probably help if I got some thicker socks because they are a little loose. I do wear Merino wool socks year-round though. I feel the tread is good and prevents my feet from slipping out from under me in the snow. The biggest plus for me though is that they are insulated and rated for -20 below zero. If you are looking for rubber boots that have arch support or are stiff in any way, these are not that kind, but they work well for me. Wow, was i very pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of these books. I am i huge fan of Bogs boots. I've had 2 pairs and I thought they were great until I put these on. So comfortable walking around in my house. Size was true. I wish I would have ordered a size up so I could wear heavy socks but they are lined and snuggly soft. I truly love them. Colors are awesome! Okay. I got these babies for an Alaskan cruise and now I wear them EVERYWHERE!! They actually work GREAT as snow boots (I attach Yak Traks underneath for grip) because they're waterproof and keep my feet so cozy and warm. They're comfortable to wear. Love the boots but unfortunately when the 1st order arrived the wrong size was shipped…. I did receive the correct size the second attempt but they were actually worn…. The bottom I’m both boots had dirt on them…. Unfortunately many do not take pride in their quality these days! Read more
