Works great the extra storage is amazing I havnt had to delete a game since installing and have added plenty of games I wouldn't have before because I'd be worried about storage space. The device itself is easy to use and thin enough I keep it right intop of the Playstation. It also as somesorta storage protection as it will 'repair' itself when power goes out unexpected. I did a lot of research before I bought this because I really needed one for my PS4. This one definitely stood out. I hooked it up and it couldn’t have been easier. It has to be formatted to the ps4 but that’s just a click of a button once you get to the setting. It was compatible and formatted in just mins. Have been using it for months with no issues. I moved all my games to the external drive and my ps4 seems to run smoother and load faster pulling from the drive. I wasn’t crazy about the price but after using it I’m definitely not disappointed. I had purchased this portable storage device for my son. He is an avid gamer on his PS4. This device so efficient that he has no problems playing several video games online! He still has a lot more storage for more games in the future. Delivery and packaging were excellent, there was no damage to the electronic device during transit. Set up was very easy. I liked that the ps4 found it quickly. It was easy to setup. I've moved several games to it. The only problem i had was, had some bad weather and electricity went off for a few seconds and when turned my ps4 on, ( u know says it was turned off improperly, etc...) the device says it needed repairing and might loose data on it. So i hit repair and it repair after a little while with no problems. This has happened to me twice so far, and its repaired itself with no problems so far. This is one of the best things I have ever purchased for my PS4. It was super easy to set up and I have downloaded ALL of my games that I have purchased over the years with room to spare. If you are an individual that has a lot of patience, read no further. This is an amazing purchase if you are trying to gain access to more of your library. I've already recommended this to some of my friends with 500gb PS4s. Impatient Buyers: I am unsure what the issue with extended storage is, but updates/full game downloads will often pause for no apparent reason. This requires you to manually restart the download. Rest Mode downloading works most of the time, when USB ports are set to 'Always Powered', and leaving my system on all day is much more susceptible to the random pausing. With the system on I will start the download before I leave for work, and when I get home there will be a message that the download was stopped only moments after I left the door. After testing both methods I now do all of my downloading in Rest Mode as it seems to automatically restart the download, but it's not 100% of the time. if your mentally prepared to deal with the random pausing and restarts then I say have at it. It would be 5 stars from me if downloads would work as seamlessly as system storage. Read more

Great product! I bought two different external HDD-- this and a Seagate one. The seagate is a PoS that I've never been able to actually use. This one has never presented me with any issue. Pros: •The storage space is true as advertised •Loading times are unnoticeably different than the internal HDD of my Ps4, if at all. •Never had a problem reading or writing on the drive •It is compact, light, and perfect for mobility. •You CAN download games to it in rest-mode (PS4) Cons: •$80 is a little steep for a 2TB eHDD, would definitely purchases around Black Friday or Cyber Monday. This is a great storage for extended storage for PS4 pro. As soon as I plugged it in there was a little more than 2 TB available which is better than most other external storage devices. There truly is 2 TB plus a small amount more. With most external storage devices they would take close to 5-10 percent off the storage device before you even get the chance to load one game off it. You don’t have to worry about that for this drive as you get 100% of your moneys worth. It works great and I keep it right behind my PS4 pro regardless if it is plugged in or not. Read more
