This 0° mummy bag has a full 66in of shoulder girth and 41in of foot girth to fit any bear sized person. 30 oz. of down fill this bag with 7in of loft and the continuous baffles keep the bag versatile as the weather changes. Both the draft tube and full down collar are 3-dimensionally sewn and amply filled with down. The MicroLite XP shell makes this bag stand firm against any weather. Poor lofting not up to par
I'm not sure if I just got a dud or something, but mine definitely did not loft up to the advertised 7". After hours of letting it expand, it only lofted to between 5-6" everywhere between the neck baffle and toe box (these areas obviously lofted to 7", but hell, even my Megalite, which is only advertised as 4" of loft, still lofts to 7" at the toe box). For a $730 bag, probably the most expensive 0° bag on the market, it better meet specs l, but this just seemed rushed out the door. I seriously doubt it needed any more time to expand too, as measurements were the same 5 minutes after removing from it from sleeve as they were 3 hours later. I love my Megalite, but how this fumble happened I have no clue. Will be returning... Read more
What’s all the fuss?
Nice bag but, I don’t understand or think all the positive comments regarding quality are justified. I have threads with ends that are fraying upon receipt of the bag. The bag is warm but seems fragile. My zipper stuck twice on the fabric within the first ten uses. This bag is ok but imo, overrated and not worth the cost. Read more
