Successfully transformed into a rodeo mom for one night!
My daughter decided her Sweet 16 needed a country theme, which meant I had approximately 3 weeks to transform from suburban mom into convincing cowgirl. Enter: this belt and a whole lot of YouTube tutorials on "how to look Western." I'll be honest - as a plus-size mama, I was nervous about ordering a belt online. But this bad boy fit perfectly around my waist! The concho details are actually really cute and gave me that authentic Western vibe I was desperately trying to achieve. I paired it with denim dress and boots and suddenly I looked like I belonged at a honky-tonk instead of a PTA meeting. The belt held up through an entire night of line dancing (poorly), taking a million photos, and trying to keep teenagers from doing whatever it is teenagers do at country-themed parties. The quality is solid - no cheap plastic here. My daughter was thrilled that I "committed to the aesthetic" (her words), and honestly, I felt pretty cute in it. I may have even done a little hip-swaying when "Friends in Low Places" came on. Don't judge me. Would I recommend? Absolutely!
