⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love this bamboo toothbrush! 🌿 It feels great to use, and the quality is amazing — the bristles are soft but still clean really well. I’m so glad to make the switch from plastic to something eco-friendly, finally. It’s nice knowing I’m doing a little bit to help the planet every day. Plus, the handle looks and feels so natural. I’ll definitely be sticking with bamboo from now on! Read more

Since having breast cancer this past year, I’ve worked to de-plastic and detox my house. My toothbrush is a small but significant item, since it’s in m mouth at least 3 times daily. This Western Sol bamboo toothbrush with horsehair bristles is sturdy and the bristles do an excellent job cleaning. My mouth feels fresher than when I use my electric brush and I get a satisfying, wholesome vibe when I brush my teeth! It sounds simple. But in this case, simple is not just better, it’s the best! I highly recommend this product. Read more

Concerned about microplastics I asked myself “Why am I brushing my teeth w plastic?!” So I tried these and really liked how well the horsehair bristles worked. Also the handles are bamboo, not plastic…a win-win. Read more

I wanted to love these truly sustainable, organic toothbrushes, but I just can’t. It’s the taste for me. The handle tastes too much of wood. The handle is made of untreated, bare wood. It’s very light weight. And if you brush real vigorously, another odd taste appears. If you can get past the taste, the bristles are comparable to a firm toothbrush. It did feel as though it was cleaning my teeth as good as my name brand toothbrush. I felt my gums might have been getting even more stimulation with this brush. What I do plan on using them for is cleaning. They are perfect for that. They are aesthetically pleasing and I will keep them around in my kitchen and bathroom for when I need to detail clean something. There’s no fear of confusing a cleaning toothbrush for a one being currently used for oral care. These are perfect for that!! Read more

At the recommendation of my dentist I've been using a Sonicare toothbrush once a day for deep cleaning and gum health, and a regular toothbrush in the afternoon and evening before bed. I've been making a conscious effort to reduce my use of synthetic products and plastics so I ordered these Western SOL Horse Bristle brushes. They're great brushes, but they do take some getting used to. The usual plastic toothbrushes with nylon bristles are odorless and tasteless. The first time I used these to brush my teeth there was a faint but noticeable woody scent and taste that didn't play well with my toothpaste and my first reaction was "YUCK - these are going in the trash". I didn't throw them out and have continued to use them daily for the past week, and have decided to continue using them along with the Sonicare. The good thing about these brushes is ⭐ They are all natural, made from horse hair and bamboo ⭐ They are biodegradable ⭐ The bristles are firm but soft and less damaging to your gums and enamel than harsh nylon ⭐ My teeth feel very fresh and clean after brushing with these ⭐ The initial odd scent and taste I experienced only seems to happen with the first few uses of a new brush A few other things I noticed about using these brushes are ⭐ The wood handle and natural bristles retain water unlike plastic/nylon brushes so they need good ventilation to dry out between uses ⭐ The bristles are much more dense than my nylon brushes so they take a bit more effort to thoroughly clean (and dry) after use ⭐ They don't have any kind of wear indicator like synthetic toothbrushes so you need to pay attention to the condition and decide when they need to be replaced They are a bit more expensive than synthetic brushes, but if you want a toothbrush that's more gentle on your teeth and gums and is environmentally friendly, these are an excellent choice.
