This stuff WORKS. However, it needs to be prepared and applied correctly or it’s useless. You HAVE to start with a completely clean, untouched base (if I use any kind of eye cream or moisturizer underneath it, it doesn’t do a darn thing.) But they do warn you about that in the instructions so it’s to be expected. I cleanse, then use a gentle toner (it MUST be oil-free) under the eyes and let it dry completely before applying. You then have to apply JUST the right amount (trial and error, but I’ve found that about a pea size dot is enough for both eyes), and start by gently swiping on the area and THEN patting. When I start out by just patting, it doesn’t work as well. And do NOT get it right underneath the eyes.. it will be crepe-city. This is designed to reduce bags, not fine lines. When I get it too close under my eyes where I have lines I'm horrified. It also definitely feels weird and tight but that’s to be expected. After applying, I’ve found that putting ANY kind of liquid/cream product on top of it (concealer, foundation, moisturizer) completely negates its effects. They say in the instructions that any kind of oil breaks down the tightening qualities and it’s true. So if you want to put makeup on top, it’s best to use some sort of lightweight powder. It does have a tint to it so I haven’t found the need for concealer when I’m wearing it. It definitely is fussy and finicky BUT it works so well I don’t mind. If you read the instructions they are very straightforward about how particular you have to be to get good results, so it’s not like they’re trying to trick you. Now that I’ve practiced with it a bunch, I’ll never be without it. I won’t use it every day because I do like to put eye cream on in the morning and can’t do that with this, so I save it for special occasions or extra-puffy days. It’s expensive but worth it for those days. Read more

Does absolutely nothing to tighten eye bags and barely covers dark circles at all....plus the tiniest tube you've ever seen. "Peter Thomas Roth Instant FirmX Eye Easywear Formula" (the one with the little brush) is 1,000 times better at tightening eye bags and dark circles. Plus you get 3 times as much for about the same price! Read more

This product is so much better than Thomas Roth! Not even close - I thought I would try TR after trying Westmore and boy was that a mistake. Waste of money - this product works faster, colors better and last a long time. Trust me you will see a difference with Westmore very quickly. Read more

I tried different amounts and different techniques. Results: less is better or it clumps badly. The effect of bag reduction also dries out the skin but it does reduce bags. The pigment doesn't go on smoothly and tends to shift around until dry but it does diminish dark color. Seems like the clear syrum and pigment don't mix together well and you cant add makeup to it to blend. My final decision is not to keep it. It's too finicky for me to work with and even using very little, the pigment clumps too much. I would rather keep using something that restores moisture rather than draw it out. Read more

I used this a few times after putting lotion on and using my finger to apply. It didn’t work and most of it gummed up on my finger vs staying on my face. Tried again with clean, dry skin and using a lint free makeup applicator and it works far better. I can still see a hint of circle but much improved. Read more

I think this is pretty amazing for what it is. It doesn’t “fix“ bags and discoloring, but it certainly does a good job of tightening and fading the circles. I am a 61 year-old male and unfortunately, my bags are genetic. For years, I have used caffeine, vitamin C, brighteners, you name it. Like another reviewed here, I use this during the day- sometimes I will take a break and use my eye roller or something else because this cannot be used in conjunction with other products. Use those for nighttime! Pictures do not lie; I think you will be able to tell which is before and which is after application of the product. Read more

This will be my second purchase. Love the product. For those of you saying you can’t use a moisturizer. I disagree. I apply moisturizer very lightly under my eyes and let it completely dry. Seriously will blow dry my hair why the lotions sets in. Then I apply the tightening cream. And allow to dry. I only use a baked foundation. So no other oils. Last most of the day for me. There is a small learning window. As you have to find the right amount to apply. Too much and it will turn white and caked. ( don’t ask me how I know this!) Try mixing the tube also. I shake it up and squish the tube a bit with the liquid on. Read more

I've used Westmore's 60-Second Eye Effects Tinted Firming Gel for a year. That's how long my first tube lasted. In the beginning, because it was so expensive ($45), I only used it for special occasions. Once I got the hang of applying it (and that DID take some time), I loved it so much that I wore it daily even if I wasn't leaving the house. It was nice to see my face whenever I walked by a mirror! I finally ran out a month ago and was pleasantly surprised to see the price was $10 less. But the product doesn't seem the same. I have struggled for a month now to achieve the results I'd had for a year and it's as if I've forgotten how to apply it! NOTHING I do works. The bags & dark circles are still there. Don't know if I've got a defective tube, but the product does not go on evenly. I've re-watched the vids, re-read the instructions, but it just looks blotchy & dry. There are rare occasions when it magically works again, but results are generally inconsistent. I'm looking for something new. Read more
