Works very well! Make sure you realize there is an adapter on the back of it. Yours might have the Oval or the Round seals on the actual piece that accepts that Cartridge. If your part where it seals is Round then pop that white back adapter off and there is round seals underneath of the white cartridge and boom there you go simple simple don't even worry about it. Put some silicone grease on the oring and the part it slides into.. That will make it easier to slide into. Have a blessed day. Read more

I do not write many reviews, but when something is worthy of it, I certainly am willing to put my words behind it. (the only caveat I would add to that statement, is these are only freshly installed, so I have not been using them save more than about a month and change. If something were to change, I will update the review accordingly.) I have to say I am very impressed with this cartridge. A few years ago I did a master bathroom full gut / renovation, & at the time I also changed out all the faucet fixtures in the house, except for one, which was in my upstairs guest bathroom, as it is behind a fiberglass tub enclosure, the wall behind it was the upstairs exterior stucco wall to the house itself, so there was no easy access to change out the entire valve body/faucet completely. I had an entire renovation project at the time, so I just left the old faucet in place. Fast fwd ,& I use this guest bathroom for fast showers since there’s no glass to squeegee as in my renovated master bath. But I quickly realized the old OEM cartridge with the rubber O-rings inside, was squeaking & getting harder to turn (also have very hard water), so I knew it would start leaking soon. So I found this retrofit, ceramic disc cartridge, as well as the accompanying trim plates by the same manufacturer. I’m very impressed with all of these pieces. Not only did they fit precisely with an OEM fit, there were no leaks (as a tip use KY jelly to lubricate all of the O-rings when installing), but literally zero issues with the install as well as post install operation. Turning that handle on the ceramic disc is just like all of the other Hansgrohe faucets that I put in the house during the renovation. Without fail, this was money well spent on this retrofit cartridge. (unless, for some unforeseen reason, it does not hold up reliably across time, which I have not had it long enough to assess.) Handyman here, I installed this for a customer who had an older model Price Pfister model 17196-0100G cartridge. And YES it is compatible. The older model I was replacing was probably manufactured around 2007 from what I can tell. The original cartridge mechanism was two piece, consisting of a front section (the valve assembly, with an optional stem), and a back section (the pressure control cartridge). This was discontinued by Price Pfister years ago. This new replacement part combines them both in one piece and installs properly as one unit. It also comes with instructions that were written by an average "English-as-a-second-language" student. Please read them as you have to properly orient the cartridge and adjust the scalding control dial on the front. Your brass housing also may slightly differ to determine whether you leave the tab in or not. For my model number, I left them in to properly mate with the brass housing. In the images, the orange cover is the new cartridge. The other image is the old cartridge. I give it it five stars because it fixed the dripping shower spigot. I give it three stars for the instructions. So 4 stars it is. Honestly I am a little nervous installing a part I bought from Amazon in a customer's wall that controls water flow. If it lasts, and I hope it does, I'm good. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Needed to upgrade from an existing Price Pfister unit with a 2007 valve body. The conversion piece worked great and install was very easy compared to a Delta version I also replaced recently. Read more

Works great. Leave the white adapter on if you have the oval-shaped outlets in the valve body/housing. Read more
