My package arrived with Made in China stamped on it and tape on every seam. In large letters it had Do Not Open With Sharp Instruments. Did I mention tape on every seam? Anyway I opened the box with my knife, very careful to pull the cardboard and tape up and away from the product inside. A white item encased in a vacuum seal bag lay inside the box. It looked very small. I picked it up and could find no label, brand or description anywhere on it. I carefully cut the top edge of the bag and suddenly I had a very large and puffy mattress cover. I was amazed at how big it was when taken out of the bag. I put it on the bed and loved the way it looked with it's pockets of softness in the middle and a border all around of the quilted puffy material. I was excited to sleep on it. I gave it 2 nights and asked my husband what he thought. He said it gave the mattress a nice firmness. I was thinking just the opposite, it made the mattress more cushiony. So we were both happy! It has a wonderful elastic extra wide edge to fit under any size mattress. I don't know how waterproof it is and I hope I never find out. Although with 4 kids I probably will. I can not say enough how wonderful this cover is and it had no smell when I opened it and definitely no smell coming out of the bag. If you need a new mattress cover I would buy this one. Read more
Honest, unpaid, unverified review: Thickness: max 2 inches Top material: sateen cotton, has a nice feel to it Does it regulate body temp? No, but it doesnt make you sweat Fitted cover is nice and long. I wouldnt expect this to be super thick, which it is not at all, just enough to pad the bare mattress. If you want for it to change your sleep life and have the best sleep, this is not it. This is just a mattress pad, people, not temperpedic mattress! I like my firm mattress, i just wanted a slight cushion and this does it! And no, i did not get any bugs, stains or other nasty stuff other people might have found. Only giving two stars because while the bed seems very nice, the quality control is off. I fluffed and fluffed working from the top and bottom at the same time to separate the contents in the baffles. Almost all the baffles are full and fluffed up nicely but there are 5 baffles that do not have the same amount of filling as the others and those happen to be in spots we will be laying. Hoping the company will contact me to see what can be done to correct this. Read more
