Good smacks
Works well, helped me a bunch to pull out dents people have left on my car and especially where the previous owner just left a nice crease on the quarter panel. Only reason I’m not giving this a 5 star is because I have to use a good amount of force to get the crowns to actually move, my first time using this tool so I don’t have any experience to go off of but I only use this instead of a hammer and pin tool. EXTREMELY CHEAP AND WILL NOT WORK!
CHEAP CHINESE JUNK! The plastic parts are 'injected plastic', and are extremely lightweight and WILL break and mar the vehicle. These parts SHOULD be resin-based plastic! NOT toy injection! The head on the hammer is NOT centered. Look at the distance of the 'head' to the 'shaft'. WAY too close, and WAY too short. I'm a 35 year Paintless Dent Repair tech and there WILL be rookies being 'blind-sided' by these tools! Amazon should take these tools down... Read more
light weight for tapping
Definitely for light tapping to prevent chipping of paint. A variety of point diameter tips (rubber and metal). The tips screw fit in a well made aluminum bar with a hard, foam grip. I'll use this for body repair and maybe some light metal artwork. Read more
It is not a heavy hammer by any means.
It is a nice looking hammer. There are several tips to use. The only real issue I have is that the tightening knurled ring doesn't get quite right enough for me to feel real secure with it. I wish it could lock better. Will I use it. Probably. Will it be my go to tool? Only time will tell. Read more
