For the price the belt is pretty nice. The buckle isn't overly-shiny or cheap looking. It comes with a weathered stain look on both the buckle and the tip of the belt. The belt lacked a hole or two but that's also cuz I like my belt's a little longer to show out under my shirt and I have a small waist (I'm a guy). Usually cheap items that are metal have an overly-shiny and cheap metal feel (light, fragile, brittle or poorly plated *if it's made of zinc or cheap metal*) This buckle though not heavy feels solid and well worth the money in terms of look and feel. The leather is I will say a bit cheap feeling but that's also because it's brand new. Usually leather or faux leather takes time to wear in and for the smell of the tan to go away. So I will update when that time comes but for now, solid 10/10 *for the price*. I'm sure more expensive options will boast a better quality or robust feel but for just a cheap belt purchase especially as a last minute gift this works great. Read more

I bought this belt in a bigger size because I like the knot look. I like this type of belt for high waisted outfits. So I was looking into buying a hole puncher to accomplish the intended use.
